light. easy to use. It's the first one I've ever purchased so I can't compare it to others.

I swim in a salt water lagoon which has a lot of boats in it. This is a light buoy that you don't know you have on when you swim with it and it has given me extra visibility. My orange cap just didn't feel enough for my liking. It's the usual high quality of BlueSeventy.

Once I figured out hold to fold the water proof flap, I was impressed with the design and function. On the water, having the bouy really does provide peace of mind knowing our water safety people can better track me. Although I mostly swim fresh water lakes, it does get windy and choppy as it did this morning at Folsom Lake in California. The wind and chop didn't phase the Buddy Bag or impair my stroke. Highly recommended.

In the last few years I've had the dilemma of trying to make sure I am seen by the lifeguards on duty and also worrying about my key, phone or credit card on the beach while I'm out there swimming in open water. This buddy bag really does solve all those issues. The bright color is visible from far away, which gives me an extra sense of safety knowing the lifeguards can spot me if something were to happen. This buddy bag also has a dry compartment for the essentials, taking away my worry about lost/stolen phone, money or key left at the beach. Other float bag styles I've seen don't have the dry compartment so this product is really worth the investment. The quality is great and the strap is secure while staying out of the way. I highly recommend it for short or long distance swimming in open water. It's great for triathlon training as well.

This is perfect for open water swims - brings peace of mind to know you have it but you don’t notice that it is there as you are swimming. The dry bag part of it is perfect to hold keys so you don’t have to leave items on the shore. Overall has worked very well for me. I can swim for a bit, then rest for a bit holding on to the buoy. I’m a beginner swimmer training for triathlon.

Our lakes have now required all open water swimmers have a buoy. The blue seventy buoy is very comfortable when swimming.
