“Plan to swim with them this week. However, I put anti-fog in them and using a soft microfiber cloth used for glasses and goggles, it scratched the inside of the lens. Bummer since I have yet to even wear them.”
Our goggle lenses have an anti-fog coating on the inside of the lens to help keep your vision crystal clear while swimming. This coating can be destroyed by rubbing or scrubbing the inside of the goggles. Over time this coating will wear out with use, but avoid rubbing to prolong the life of your goggles.
It's most likely the scratching you experienced on the inside of the goggles was simply scratch/ rubbing the anti fog coating, if you were using a soft cloth you likely did not scratch the actual lens.
