“I’m on only my 3rd pair of Blue-70 NR2 goggles over the last decade of swimming. They fit great, and each pair has lasted several years/thousands of miles of swim use—both in the pool and open water (lake/ocean) swims, and they have a variety of lenses (clear for inside, tinted for outside use). They are one of the few goggles that reliably fit my face; with the 4 interchangeable nose bridge pieces, I can achieve a perfect fit every time. After trying dozens of goggles years ago, I can always trust these to be comfortable, leak-free, and reliably long-lasting!”
“At first I was hasn't transitioning away from Blueseventy's Nero with the new Nero 2. I had some issue s to start in particular the nose piece and it was pinching the nose. I used the middle nose piece provided and the issue went away. There was a minor leakage but shorting up the straps a bit and getting a wet seal helped reduce the leak. The anti-fog became none resistant so I had to used a after marker anti-fogger which seems to help. As with any new product, there are growing pains so I will monitor and report back time to time. The Nero and Nero 2 are for swimmers with smaller and more rounded eye sockets.”
Not every goggle will fit every face, and we definitely agree, leaking is a no go! I'd suggest giving the Flow a try, for a similar smaller frame goggle but slightly different fit.
“These goggles do it all. I used to have open water goggles and pool goggles. These have been perfect for both! Don’t leak, great visibility, and so comfortable. I love the low profile these have. I have the dark blue lenses with the yellow gaskets and straps and they’re perfect shade for bright light of the Southern California sun!”
