Often excess tightness in the neck is due to a wetsuit not being on as best it can be. To combat this, make sure you have the legs adjusted up as much as possible - the wetsuit should be snug in your crotch with no gap. Next bend at your waist about 45ยบ and grasp the ripple of neoprene around your middle and work it up into your chest. The Glide is sleeveless so it is unlikely the shoulders are not on well, but you can lift at the top of the arm opening and reposition where that neoprene sits to bring it closer to your neck to also help lessen any tightness. Hope that helps!
“Took the plunge into Ironman and it was time to get into a wetsuit. My event was out of town so a local rental would have been two weeks and only saved me about $40 vs. a Glide purchase. I figured it was worth it to have my own if I were to stay in the sport or could offload it and make up the difference. The suit was fantastic - super easy to get into compared to full body or sleeveless and works perfectly for me as I have no intention of needing it for cold water swimming. Great for entry-level and defined parameter usage. I'm ~5'11" and 195 so I was on the verge of M/L and L. I hold most of the weight in my gut and sizing worked out well. For any extra height, I would probably recommend going with L. Very satisfied with my purchase.”
