“I purchased a WMA. I am within the weight/height specified in the size charts. I assumed since this was a women's ATHENA, theoretically for shorter, fuller folks, that the sizing would be better than what I have experienced with Blue Seventy wetsuits in the past. I was wrong. The chest was still extremely tight and the neck so tight as to be choking. I've been open water swimming for some 15 years, enough to know that the suit would be horribly uncomfortable in the chest and the neck choking even once it was wet. And yes, I had it pulled up all the way. So if you are thinking that the sizing on this suit is more generous than other Blue Seventy's, you would be mistaken. While the suit itself is nice enough, if you don't have a smaller chest and a thinner neck I'd pass on this.”
“I tried two other wetsuits by another brand before I got my Blue 70. The Blue is stretchier and more comfortable, and it keeps me warm in 70 degree water, which is why I bought it. (I swim at a university that is having trouble heating its pool. There's a part on order that will reportedly fix the problem but in the meantime I didn't want to stop swimming for three months while they wait for it to come.)”
“Wonderful that Blueseventy offers the Athina size option. For me, this makes for a perfect fit! The lower neckline is very comfortable, breaststroking in the suit feels great, and overall the Glide fits indeed like a second skin.”
