“I get cold easily, but my full body wetsuit is too much as the water starts to cool down but isn’t yet cold. I like the Glide for that reason. The neck feels a bit tighter and more constricting than my other wetsuit, so I’ve had to adjust to the difference, but it’s not a deal breaker for me.”
“Ordered this wetsuit twice to try and make it work. I’m 5’5, 110 lbs so ordered first a small, then SM (small medium). Neck was SO TIGHT, I couldn’t deal with it. And back zip is a pain! QUALITY IS GREAT and exactly what I need and if you would kindly consider FIXING NECK WITH A FRONT ZIP, I’d be a loyal customer. As it is, I’m stuck with an inferior product unless you are willing to do the front zip, which by design could correct neck issue. PLEASE CONSIDER!! Thanks!”
Sorry this suit did not work for you. Excess neck tightness, especially when in the right size (which you were), is often due to not having the suit adjusted properly (ie: pulled tight in the crotch, and any excess neoprene worked up through the core into your chest and shoulders which relieves that tension). As for the zipper, a front zipper often reduces flexibility and comfort, which is why our wetsuits have zippers in the back.
“After trying two other wetsuits and finding them too constricting, I tried this one for a Memorial Day weekend tri. The suit fits perfectly and kept me buoyant and warm during the swim. There was enough give to prevent the feeling of tightness around the neck. The suit is very easy to get on and off, which had been a challenge for me when I used full leg-length suits. “I have too many wetsuits but each one has a purpose, really! I was looking for a shortie that would bridge the gap before completely going skins. This one is perfect. Easy to get on but still the correct snug fit and a bit of warmth and buoyancy. I love that Blue Seventy offers the "A" size. I am 5'3" and 145-150lbs and I got the WMA. Usually size charts mean nothing to me as they are meant for leaner swimmers.”
“I wanted to love this suit. I own blue seventy reaction suits sleeveless and full and love them. Unfortunately the pressure on the neck made me feel like I was choking and I needed to return it. I ordered it in the same size of my other two and know I had it on correctly. My friend has one and likes it. I don’t know if it’s a body shape fit issue or a neck sensitivity thing.”
