I've become more acclimated to cooler water and I wanted a suit that would allow full shoulder rotation and good feel of the water. The Glide satisfies those needs, keeps my core warm, and allows more freedom in my lower legs due to less buoyancy. The suit was very comfortable in my recent 5k race. “It's a great suit and fit everywhere but the neck pulled me down. I agree with the review below about the neck but think it's because I have a very long torso. I am 6 feet tall. I exchanged it for a mens large and that fit great. I gave it four stars because it is a great product, just not made for long torso-ed women. I also have the long sleeve mens version and love that suit.”
“Very comfortable in all ways except even on the loosest fitting, the tight neck caused my neck veins to bulge & I felt like I was being choked, even when swimming. I tried a larger size with the same results. So sad! Maybe I just can't wear wetsuits, because many people find them comfortable around the neck.”
Sorry to hear this! One of the main culprits of the neck feeling too tight is not having the wetsuit adjusted properly. Always make sure to work the neoprene well into the crotch, and up through your core to make sure there's no extra stress pulling on your shoulders and neck area. It's amazing what a difference moving the neoprene up 1/8" can make. Best of luck finding your perfect fit!
