“I have struggled to find a wetsuit that fits me properly. I'm big and women's suits generally aren't made big enough for me, so I've always bought men's suits. I purchased the men's Large and it fits me wonderfully. I'm 5'10", around 200 lbs. I love the neck opening construction, no rough edge and the large flap at the back to protect against abrasion from the velcro closure is really a great feature. Great shoulder mobility, too. I swim in water ranging from 60 to 70 F and this is a perfect suit for those temps. This is a quality product and I couldn't be more thrilled with it!”
“Just finish Alcatraz Sharkfest 2022 Swim. Lots of swimmers wearing Blue 70s. My Reaction suit felt like part of my body. After the initial shock of jumping off the boat into SF Bay, the cold flood tide temp was never an issue. Material feels more like cloth than neoprene. This is my third Blue 70. “Quick review, as I've only had one OWS and one 70.3 in this suit: incredible shoulder/arm moment, like you don't have a suit on!! Vastly superior to any other suit I've owned. Looking forward to spending more time in it. Size: I'm 5/8", 160, long torso. I bought a M, it's fine... legs and arms are long for me, but that is too be expected. It would be fun to try the S, but with a longer torso, and some beef in my legs and rear and shoulders, seems like it would be too small. Swim safe!”
“I recently bought a Reaction Sleeveless wetsuit to replace my 5-year old Blue Seventy Sprint. The Sprint was still in excellent condition after 5+ years and has now found a new owner. I had to replace the Sprint, because either it shrunk, or I got fatter! Sizing was an issue. My Sprint was a Medium but when looking at the size chart it said I also needed a medium in the new Reaction suit. I contacted Blue Seventy about this and they were very responsive and helpful. Lance recommended based on my stats that I get a medium as their Try it Out option meant I could easily change out to a large if required. Lance also sent me a link to getting into/out of the suit video. Seems I was not taking enough time to correctly work the suit onto my body. The medium Reaction fits great and I love now having a sleeveless version as it makes swimming much less restrictive. I would not go anywhere other than Blue Seventy for OWS Gear.”
