“I swim in a spring fed lake about an hour N of Spokane. Last summer I took my longest swim, about 3/4 of a mile. At the deepest part it's cold! A friend suggested your company. The suit fits snugly but well. The buoyancy is hard to get used to. Swimming is more work with it on. I miss the ease of natural swimming, but will continue to work with it.

The bouyancy of a wetsuit can be different when you're used to swimming without one, but after a few swims you get used to it. To improve the comfort of the suit, you'll want to make some small adjustments based on what I see in your photo. Start with the arms higher on your wrists and work the neoprene into your shoulders. Also bend at your waist and work the wetsuit up your core into your chest. This will allow for the most flexibility through your shoulders and chest for the most comfortable and fast swimming. “Was debating between cheapening out with an Xterra or spending a little more for the blue seventy and I am glad I did! Seems to be good quality and the size chart was very accurate too”
“Having only worn a surf wetsuit in the past, I didn’t quite realize what a difference a suit was going to make when open water swimming. I had tried to find the cheapest suit possible on eBay, and that was a huge mistake! After reading recommendations from various triathlon group posts, blue seventy was the most recommended. I love my suit! It perfect for what I need, helped me finish my first triathlon and kept me warm, buoyant and moving in the cold pacific. Very happy!”
