“This tastes and performs the most like white cane sugar of any product we've tried. The taste is indistinguishable from cane sugar to us. Other than not being able to caramelize, it performs the same as cane sugar in recipes. We don't use it in sugar-heavy recipes like cakes because it is expensive, but in homemade ice cream, cheesecake, fruit crisps, and such items it works perfectly.”
“This is a very good sweetener for keto recipes. Makes food sweet enough without the typical aftertaste or lingering chemical bitterness.Of course it's expensive for the budget. But, I chose taste first in this case.”
“Five stars for everything but the cost and that is just a fact of life. No after taste, bitter taste or cooling effect no matter the amount used. I wish I could find a brown sugar BochaSweet. I don't know if they even make that. (Yet)”
“Use this in place of sugar. Just like sugar. Made from a Japenese squash. Best of all no Glycemic effect, no calories, and I believe no carbs. But best of all TASTE GREAT.”
“I was looking for a sweetener that did not have an aftertaste. I heard about this one and thought I would give it a try. I felt that the price was high but I thought I would try it anyway. I have used it in my coffee and tea. I don't believe that it is as sweet as sugar but it does not leave an aftertaste. I will have to use it more to really have a good opinion of the BochaSweet.”
“This is the best non-caloric sweetener out there! Far better than Lakanto Monk fruit sweetener which is actually mostly erithritol. BocaSweet has ONE ingredient! And it’s just as sweet as table sugar. Squash! I love both the granular and the powdered versions. Please buy this product so it becomes available in stores!”
