“The product itself is average. I purchased this for support and to stop hyperextension of the knee. It does provide support, but doesn't stop hyperextension. The support bars in the side can move past 180 drgs, so the knee can kick backwards. I'll probably modify the support bars to stop this happening”

As you can see this product has a vast majority of positive feedback and provide the support that most of our customers need. However, like any garment/support, there are exceptions such as yourself. Everyone is made differently so it's difficult to have one product that is 100% accurate for everyone. Also, the knee support that you purchased which is the Mueller Hinged Wraparound Knee Brace 5313X does not provide support for hyperextension hence why it did not provide the support that you need. “This is the second one purchased..Needed support for damaged miniscus which improved immediately with the hinged support...I was so grateful as it meant that I could progressively get my mobility back...As I used the support I realized that if my knees worsened, I should have two... “The brace has proved suitable for me. I have another brace with more straps and stays to prevent hyper extension. It is secure for me. However your brace is lighter and holds my knee securely. Regards Noel Kratzmann”

“My ACL is non existant, the joint is pretty much bone on bone and I need a knee replacement. I have only used the brace once since receiving it, but first impressions are excellent. My knee was much more stable, and inflammation that usually builds throughout a golf game, was much reduced as a consequence. So far very impressed :)”
