Which activity or class did you attend? Mammoth Slip & Slide
Although a great idea for adults and teens this slide needs some sort of adjustment for smaller & lighter children as they only get about a third of the slide each run and then stop. Does it need more water to transport them to the bottom? So although my granddaughters enjoyed the slide I felt that they weren’t getting the full experience and spent a lot of time queuing and then only sliding about a third of the way down. So rather expensive for 6 or 7 incomplete slides.

Bit underwhelming. V slow slide. Looks impressive. Does not quite deliver. I’m not sure if there was enough water!

The concept is brilliant and it is a great add on to the farm shop although there are a couple of points my children made. The ‘floor’ of the slides are too bumpy which meant the water flowed in streams around them so the floats/body boards didn’t go down the slides well. The bumps caused them to slow and get stuck on dry parts ending their slide prematurely. This also increased friction burn marks. They also spent a lot of time queuing. In an hour they had only 6 go’s. It seemed apparent that the amount of people booked into sessions were too many. The staff were friendly and informative on the ‘rules’. It ran to time.

It was too busy and you were queuing for too long. Only 5 slides in the space of an hour makes for an expensive slide. There were over 50 people in our group.

The kids did enjoy it but they don't go very fast or very far if they're smaller/younger. Didn't reach the bottom of the slide once due to air bubbles and water not taking them down the slide. If they go on the slide opposite the queue side and have to get off because they've stopped near the top, they then have to walk all the way to the bottom, around and back up to the top. Probably got 5 slides in the 1 hour slot and I wouldn't have said it was busy.

We took 3 kids aged 7,8 and 10 for the 5.30 term time evening session and they loved it. If you don’t mess around getting off the track at the end of your go you fit in around 7-8 slides in the hour. Slide was not as fast as we had thought it would have been. None of the kids reached the end but a few adults did. If you’re planning on getting fish and chips from the farm shop either order in advance or send someone before the end of the session as it gets busy!
