“I have a 1 yr old german shepard who was "diagnosed" with lameness on back leg since January and it hasnt been able to go away, no matter how much we try to keep him from daily activities so that it can heel, as per his vets request. So i decided to give this a try and within 3 weeks, he has stopped limping and does not raise his back leg. Hes back on tract and being active as he used to. “I had such high hopes for this product. My dog is a 12 year old pit bull. We changed nothing about his regimen except using this. He was so excited about eating this and ate the entire bowl of food and I got so happy he finally ate a full meal, I even told Sarah that night how happy I was. The next day he started acting weird. He peed in the house and he never does that. He threw up twice in the house, and then was squatting like he had to poop or was in pain and I’ve never seen him do that body move in the 12 years I’ve had him. I’m so sad about this because I’ve spent thousands of dollars on Bowmar nutrition but it seems like their products aren’t as good as they use to be since changing manufacturers and getting so big. I know it was the product. I also don’t understand why their is an overdose warning on the label either if there is just 1 ingredient and I used a lower dose than my dogs weight.”
We are sorry to hear your dog became sick the next day, many dogs are not allergic to beef broth. We list an overdose warning because that is what we were recommended to do by the multiple veterinarians that looked at our product before approval. You can always send the opened product back and we can donate it to less fortunate shelter dogs. Thanks for being a consumer.
