I haven't had any issues with the straw lid like others, but maybe they aren't putting the actual straw attachment on the lid? I only use the straw lid and have from day out and it has been perfect. I like that the mouth bit is soft, as well.”
“I read several issue with the straw lid but I have had mine since the day they came out and have never had an issue? It does need to be pushed back all the way otherwise there will be issues and the straw needs to be fully attached. I love mine so much! My kids have several different water bottles and they always grab mine to drink out of because of the straw lid part.”
