“This is the tastiest protein I have ever had by far! I usually like Quest and some ON flavors, and this is by far superior in flavor. I usually need to blend protein with at least ice and almond milk to enjoy it, but with this one it still tastes like a treat in my shaker with water (with some unsweetened cashew milk it is SO good). Believe the hype, it really tastes like hot chocolate. You can't beat the macros either! I did make hot chocolate with it once and it tasted just like hot chocolate, but was kind of hard to blend (I just stirred it into a mug with hot water). I bet if you did it on the stove top like traditional hot chocolate it would be smooth though.”
“The first time I purchased Protein Hot Chocolate, I was skeptical of spending $60 on a tub of protein that I wasn't sure if I'd like. I'm very picky about textures and flavors of protein so I decided to purchase some samples first and let me tell you, I regret not buying a tub of it the first time!! This protein mixes amazingly, it doesn't taste like artificial sweeteners and gives the best chocolate flavor I've ever had. “This stuff is the real deal. Not only does it taste exactly like hot chocolate, it mixes SO well with both hot and cold liquids. You can quickly make it alone with some hot water and drink it as hot chocolate, or add it to coffee for a quick serving of protein in the morning. I NEVER drink protein powder with just water since it’s always chalky and the flavor just isn’t there, but this is totally different! I also love being able to look at the ingredients list and know what I’m putting in my body, instead of reading a huge list of chemicals like some other protein powders. “I have tried a number of different protein powders over the years and this is the first one that 1) tastes amazing; exactly like it is described and not chalky 2) does not give me the digestive issues traditional protein powders do. Mixing is a breeze with coffee, but my new favorite is PHC pudding. I will be buying 2 tubs next time just in case there is another shortage. Its definitely worth the wait!!!”
