“I'm not a poker chip expert, but these feel really good to me and they shuffle easily. The designs look cool.
The only problem I have is that the colors are nowhere near as bright as they look in the pictures on the site. They look washed out which is very disappointing, especially the lower denoms. If they had more vibrant colors I would pick up a set in a hot second.
IF I was to purchase these, I would go with 25, 100, 500 and a few 1000s to run a $50 or $100 buy-in game and just use them as cents instead of dollars.
I reall like that they have big denoms and no $ signs too and they don't look lame or generic like so many of the other chips on the market.
But it's still a tough call (pun intended) with the washed out colors at this price point.
I have a sample of the card wars coming too so hopefully they be will be a bit more vibrant.
PS: at first I thought the photos of the chips on the website may have been intentionally enhanced, but when I took a picture of my own it also is looked like they were significantly brighter so I guess these chips just photograph well.”
