“I purchased my flight bag shortly after they introduced the "flex" system and have always loved it. Now that I'm furthering my aviation endeavors, I needed a bit more room. I was happy to see that the flex system was still around and purchased the CS2 for my iPad & knee board. It mated up perfectly to my old bag and is even nicer than the original. The zippers are super smooth and even lockable now, yet the quality still just as good.”
“Rubber skids on the bottom like the larger bag would help. I needed a replacement as the bottom wears out, when mounted and carried behind a roller bag.”
“This one has become my defacto tech bag. I am able to put in a couple of packing cubes with all of my cable, wires, batteries etc. and go right out the door or add it to the bag for the day.”
“My only complaint is the CS2 doesn't have a plastic/rubber skid plate on the bottom. This has led to the material failing due to regular use. It doesn't drag while being wheeled, but naturally when you stand your bag up or lean it over it will come in contact with the ground while in motion. So this is the second CS2 I have had to purchase.”
Thanks for the comments.
We did look at having a "skid plate" on the bottom of the CS2. Unfortunately they don't make one small enough to fit. Plus, there isn't room for the stitching that would be required because of the narrowness of the bag. It's one of those bummer design-tradeoffs that crop up in a complex bag system like this.
