“The product definitely prevented sunburn, however, it is not at all translucent. I am someone who is very pale and it made me look orange. For a translucent product, there is too much pigment on the powder. Wouldn't recommend if you are fair skin tone.”
“I just received my brush and I like the way it feels on my skin. My moisturizer pills when I use mineral sunscreens, so this is a great alternative. In addition, I can reapply easily over makeup!
I wish you had paper funnel refills, a little envelop with the powder in it that I could just refill the cartridge with. This would cut down on the waste. I know it could get messy, but I would love to add less plastic into the "recycle stream."”
“I've been using Brush on Block for 2 years now. Its a light powder, not heavy or sticky like liquid sunscreen. It does an awesome job of blocking the sun. I would highly recommend it.”
“This was the first sunscreen I've come across that doesn't make me break out when I wear it. Even brands and products labelled as nonacnegenic/noncomedogenic still make me break out because they still clog my pores too much. Brush On Block's powder sunscreen is the first product I've used that never makes me feel greasy while giving me great sunblock protection. The fact that the active ingredient is eco-friendly and that they offer an eco-friendly refill option is a HUGE plus. I only use the powder for my face and neck since it's a small surface area. I wish they had some sort of tin sunscreen balm that I could use on the rest of my body!”
“Love this powder sunblock. Very spreadable and sheer. I use it over my cream sunblock. It mattifys my shiny T Zone and gives sun protection at the same time. It also helps eliminate some of the white cast from the cream sunblock.”
