“I have very sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin with rosacea, and this product has not broken me out, or caused any irritation. It feels wonderful on the skin and layers well with my primer and mineral powder foundation, without pilling, and does not feel heavy or cakey. It is a must have in my daily routine. I highly recommend!”
“It is easy to apply, feels like you are wearing nothing and provides great protection. I have been using this since "Brush On Block" put it on the market. A great product. It is my backup block for neck and decolletage. I use the tinted Sheer Genius SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen block every morning on my face.”
“I am an avid golfer with history of invasive basal cell carninoma to my nose. I love Sheer Genius SPF Mineral Sunscreen and have been using for a couple years along with Brush on Block Mineral Power for complete protection. I never burn and I have not developed brown sun spots.
My only dislike is the fragrance of the loction. I wish it could be fragrance free as I am very sensitive to smells.”
Thanks for giving Sheer Genius a try, and thank you for your feedback. One thing that's worth knowing: Sheer Genius is designed to work as your moisturizer and sunscreen in one, so pilling can show up when it's layered over a separate moisturizer underneath and the two products end up competing instead of absorbing. Used on its own, with a minute or two to settle into the skin (or by using the Sheer Genius brush), it tends to behave very differently. We formulated it to shine when it's used as the one-and-done step, and we hope you'll give it another go. We will reach out to your directly to find a solution and make it right for you.
“My second tube. This is my go-to everyday I step outside. It clicks all the boxes and protects me from the sun. Be aware that the initial unpleasant fragrance disappears right away.”
“The sheer genius sunscreen is very nice and I love how it goes on with a velvety touch. The only issue I have with it is it leaves a shiny sheen on my face. I don't want to put powder over it for fear it will break me out. That's the only issue so far that I have had.”
