“As someone who has a history of skin cancer I am a sunscreen snob. I have tried them all and have my favorites for different areas and reason. This is my GO TO for my neck/feet/lower legs. It dries quickly is truly sheer when it dries and I put on GOBS! I’m sure it’s great on the face as well but I have another I use for my face.”
“This sunscreen is not sheer; it does leave a white cast on your face. I have found that applying powder on top helps restore color to your face and evens out the ghost white residue. I like that it is not a greasy formulation, but I don't find that it adds moisture. If anything, my skin is drier and more irritated after using this all day.”

It's highly unusual that the Sheer Genius lotion would cause drying or leave a white cast, but we appreciate your feedback, as every customer may have a different experience. :) I'm glad to hear you found a way to make the tone work for you, but I wonder if it's not the application of additional powder that is attributing to the dryness of your skin? We are sorry to hear you are disappointed with the product consistency. It is mineral based, so it does have a slightly different consistency than some other sunscreens, but it's those minerals that make it safer for both your skin and the environment--and keep you from burning!
