“I love this product. This is so much easier to use than the liquid sunscreens on my face. It is so easy to apply. Very effective!!! I intend to keep this as part of my daily routine.”
“I'm utterly disappointed in my purchase of Brush on Block. When you "flick" it to get the powder to dispense, more product gets on the sink and countertop than goes on my face. Don't waste your money!!”
Hi Barbi! The bristles deliver the powder onto your skin, so if powder is flying out then yes, it is a waste. When you flick the brush before you apply, try lightening up how hard you are flicking it to help prevent as much powder from escaping the bristles. The flick motion helps move the power from the reservoir into the center base of the bristles when you first start the brush. From there, the brush self dispenses with the motion of buffing on the skin. Hope this helps, but please don't hesitate to reach our to our team if you are still having trouble, customerservice@brushonblock.com
Thank you, The Brush On Block Team
“I prefer these translucent brush-on sunscreens over a well-known blue-color competitor's brushes. The matte finish is better, the application is easier and smoother, and the refills are so convenient (the competitor doesn't have refills). Plus, these are more affordable—especially if you use them daily like I do. I also prefer the Brush On Block SPF50 over the competitor's brush for the same reason. When my competitor's SPF30 and SPF50 supply runs out, I will replenish with Brush On Block exclusively from now on.”
“Loving this sunscreen! I can hardly believe how well it works when I'm out golfing -- I do reapply at the turn (halfway through our round) since that's about 2 hours, and so far, no sunburn even with my sleeveless top and skirt. I apply it to my legs, arms, chest, ears, neck and face easily and it works so well!”
“I have now tried out the BOB duo pack in a variety of settings! It was fabulous out camping so didn't have to rub in the dirt in a wet sunscreen. I like that the powder is translucent, though on a long day in the sun I realized my quick brush on hadn't been quite generous enough on my arms and shoulders so I ended up with a nice farmer tan! Now I know to take my time and make sure I am covered. I look forward to being able to refill when necessary, though I haven't tried that yet.”
