“I searched around for a long time trying to find the right product for me. I use my iPad more and travel with it, I write a lot of emails and use a lot of documents so the keyboard was the key. I tried several other products but dismissed them within minutes. I could not try this product as no one I knew had one, and nowhere stocked them. Based on what I'd read here I decided this was the product I wanted. I was not wrong. From the moment I opened the box this product felt like something that Apple would make, the packaging, the keyboard, the spacing of keys all excellent, the built quality amazing, smooth lines, buttons and power slide all mirror my iPad it looks and feels amazing. I'm a Mac user so although I'm from the UK I had no issue with the keyboard layout, and when I press Shift 3 I get a _Ε_ versus a # (again just like my Mac so I disagree with the comment this is for American users - it's probably second nature to Mac Users) I'm still on my first charge and it's going strong although I have to say I've not used the speakers to any degree. I'm not too bothered about even having them. So, I gave this product 4 stars, why not 5? There's two really annoying little feature I found within 2 minutes of using my keyboard. Two basic iPad keyboard features do not work. Double Space bar and Auto Capitalise. Both a little annoying and undocumented in reviews or support. Would I recommend this? - ABSOLUTELY YES I could write much more but I'm out of space. Jason”

“Nice piece, but there is no ISO keyboard (as used internationally, CSA for example, and support diacritical characters). I do have to rely for important ''jobs'' on AppleBlue tooth kb which is available for ISO standards.”

“Potential customers should not be put off at all by the details in this 2 part review but I hope that Brydge developers may take note. GOOD / EXCELLENT Quality / Finish is top notch and a perfect match to Gold Air2. Feet on base and bumpers on keyboard face. Hinges (longevity?). Select, copy, cut, paste as per PC/MAC. BAD **Doesn't always act 'smart' and lock iPad Air2 display... Appears to need to be absolutely bottomed out on the hinges which after some use is not always the case. Should be a simple fix to provide a larger spread on the magnet to reed relay switch. Is this just an Air2 issue? Depression should have been formed in front of keyboard to ease opening of iPad/keyboard clamshell. IMPROVEMENTS White keys or semi-opaque 'ice' white backlit (and white 'bumpers') Choice of backlight colours. Selectable timeout for backlight and keyboard. Its far too short as it is... Clear iPad Air2 back shell/cover to marry up with iPad Air shims (had to modify a _Ε_ 2.99 one from eBay) has only just become available and is premium price but I'm sure to end up ordering one... Fitting of a Lightning charge socket for iPad compatibility and hence only a single cable required.”

“I have had this for just over a week now and can highly recommend it but as always, there is room for improvement - just like the Air2 to which its attached. PURCHASE ISSUES I ordered this in October fully aware that I would have to wait for the gold finish until the beginning of January. In January, I was advised that delivery was delayed due to production issues so I didnt receive it until mid February which was doubly disappointing when reading reviews of others getting them earlier than expected. This was even more aggravated by being hit by Import duty and fees of _Ε_ 39 despite the Web Site stating that only deliveries upto January 2015 would be direct from HK and then would be shipped via a local (UK) distribution centre without any such additional charges and indeed the site now claiming that they are restocking (!) their global warehouses. Not a good start though to be fair, Customer Services were very responsive. POINTS TO NOTE Speakers on rear have quality seriously affected when iPad is open. Make sure you mount iPad right way up to ensure 'smart' auto lock function may work**. Note that this is upside down wrt smart cases and means volume controls are counter intuitive but would have negated their use if mounted other way round as they would have been hidden behind the keyboard. Hash key '#' types UK pound ' _Ε_ '. # types #... Del actually backspace delete. Button symmetry matched only with Air not Air2.”
