Customer service was amazing and got me taken care of quickly. I owned a 2nd gen ipad pro and purchased the 3rd. With the camera being different i didnt wanna just dispose of my old keyboard. I was able to repurpose it by ordering a Gen 3 magnetic backing for protection of new ipad.

It doesnt stay put. More of a hindrance than a benefit. Dont like having to baby it. Love the keyboard but its extremely heavy.

Backing attached nicely, looks sleek, and is well protected! The bottom where it attaches to the keyboard is a little more exposed then I was hoping for, but overall I am very happy. And happy it was delivered free of charge. Good on you Brydge.

New fitting left some areas exposed and felt a little off on camera measurement

I have both Apple Magic Keyboard and the Brydge. They are both wonderful products and I use the Brydge more with travel or at times when I need more structural support as it is stronger. At work as an ER Physician I have a cart using a traditional Apple Keyboard which eases typing and my iPad Pro will magnetly connect to the back of my Ergotron SV10 Cart using blue tooth then totally turn off when switching to my Apple Magic Keyboard at my desk where it further charges. Doing this configuration enhances automatization

It feels great and provides adequate protection for the top. I dont like the way it shifts around. I dont know if its a magnet issue or a design issue. I would recommend with some caveats.

The magnetic cover for the new 11” iPad Pro does not fit correctly with the older keyboard that was made for the previous model. Overall, the quality and texture are the same. Just has a fit issue around where the iPad inserts into the hinges. The cover leaves some open space and doesn’t cover the entire back of the iPad.

Keyboard is excellent .. but heavy. I use a standard cover most of the time. The 'case' for the top of the MacBook Pro 12 is pretty sad. I miss the earlier incarnation that snapped on.
