I run the vertical dock for my 16 MacBook Pro (MBP). I use a Thunderbolt 3 (TB3) to Thunderbolt 2 (TB2) adapter to use my 2 27 Apple Thunderbolt displays (daisy chained on one TB3 port). When I run them on a native MBP port (Top ports in dock) they work perfectly. When I run them off one of the TB3 ports off the back of the dock, the daisy chained monitor (plugged in to the TB2 port on the first 27 TB Display) flashes and has other visual artifacts and noise. I can swap either monitor to be primary/secondary and the problem still exists. It doesn't matter which Brydge dock port I use, it happens on both. When I run them off ANY of the 4 MBP native ports outside the dock it works flawlessly. The only time I have this issue is with the Brydge vertical dock, running the monitors off the ports on the Brydge dock. I have reached out to support, they are non-existent. The response I got was "Send me photos of your setup, send a video". I responded to that email stating my configuration, it's really not rocket science. I have a power adapter in one Brydge Vertical Dock Port and the TB3 to TB2 adapter in the other.I use the TB2 port off one monitor to drive the second monitor. You know, like Thunderbolt is designed to do. The dock looks great, and it looks great on my desktop with it sitting next to the two 27 TB Monitors with the Apple Keyboard and Trackpad. Only I use my computer, I don't just look at it. I shouldn't have to use native laptop ports to use my displays. I bought the dock for each of use. I want to grab my MBP when I go out, without having to unplug devices from it's native ports. That's not what a docking station is for. Brydge is dropping the ball, I want it replaced or I want my money back. I even considered buying the second horizontal dock with all the ports on it to expand my experience. Only if the vertical dock doesn't seem to work right, why would that one? Beautiful looking gear, that's what prompted me to buy, they had some pretty good reviews too. So what't the deal? One dock giving one person a hassle and Brydge can't get e squared away? We're gonna play the "Did you turn it off and back on again, send me pictures/videos and we'll get back to you game? The support mailbox has been FULL for WEEKS. You can't reach them on the phone, I've tried no less than 15 times in the past two weeks or so. I get phone tree hell. They're supposed to be open for support 9am MST I live in central I call with in the support hours, where are they? IMO this dock was a very expensive paperweight and I have a hard time recommending it to anyone. Buyer beware, IMO this is JUNK. The TB3 ports on the dock aare supposedly TB3 passthrough, which yo me means any TB3 device should work the same as it does without the dock. My monitors should just work! I want to give them less than 2 stars, but the damn thing looks so good I just can't If you can't have a support organization that responds and resolves issues, then you're only in it for the money and the customer is screwed. This is my experience, this is what is currently happening to me. I'd be happy to share the video of what it is doing. I DO NOT abuse any of my gear, this stuff is too expensive. You are warned, if you buy this and have the same experience don't say no one told you.

they sent me no less than 5 emails to write a review. so here it is. the dock itself is fine, but I'll never buy another product from them because they send spam.

This is my third docking station I’ve bought from Brydge (Henge). Have been buying these docks since my 2012 Macbook Pro and they are simply the best!

The product is solid, works well, and looks good. The only real complaint I have is it's not reversible so I end up staring at the back of my laptop due to my work desk layout, and honestly its kinda overpriced for just a basic 2 port passthrough imo

Wanted to save space on my desk by storing the laptop vertically. This did the job perfectly and supports the Mac very securely. Very stable and great build quality.

It sits conveniently on my desk and does not take up too much space — and it works.
