I was excited to get this dock and purchased it when it was still being sold under the Henge brand name. I've been using it daily since March and while I really appreciate the space it frees up on my desk (as well as minimizing my cable clutter) I have grown exceptionally frustrated with the docking / undocking process. Most of the time it does not connect on the first try and I have to try to reseat it over and over and over again which has been causing excessive wear on the Thunderbolt 3 ports of my Macbook Pro. No matter how I line it up it is always slightly off and I now have small dents surrounding the edges of my ports from the connectors not seating properly. Additionally, it definitely requires two hands to remove from the dock as it is a very snug fit (which in itself is not a bad thing as it is very secure, but it does not just glide out smoothly as implied). I do primarily use my Macbook Pro docked to my monitor, which is an LG 5K widescreen, and while it does work as intended for this purpose I frequently have to remove the laptop from the dock as the display freezes, forcing me to hard-reboot my Macbook Pro. I am still using it daily and will continue to do so, but I'm always anxious to have to remove my Mac from the dock knowing I'm going to have to spend a couple of minutes to seat it properly and go through a couple of reboots to get my display working properly, every time I want to plug it back in.

The doc station is solid and looks good but functionally it has some issues. Putting the laptop in and removing it from the dock is clunky and it gets stuck when trying to pull it out. Also the MacBook Pro has 4 USB ports but the dock only allows you to access two of them. The other two are sticking in the air and not ideal for using as additional port. Overall the doc is nice but has some functionality issues.

I purchased this in addition to the Stone Pro and love the combination for reclaiming desk space. I have used Henge vertical docks for many years and this is cleaner with the USB-C ports on the system. Same build quality and thus far I'm very happy.

I've had my MBP dock for a couple months now and the laptop frequently pops out of the dock (just a bit, but enough to terminate the HDMI connection to external monitor). I purchased this dock because I had a good experience on a previous model back when it was branded as "Henge Docks". However, while this newer model's construction feels solid, the mechanism for keeping the laptop snug inside the dock feels really janky and disconnects at least a few times a day. Next time around I would skip this overcomplicated design and go for a dock with fewer moving parts.

This product did not work with my MacBook Pro 13". I have an older model (2015), but no where on the website does it indicate to which model the dock is compatible. I purchased this thinking that it would work fine because that seemed logical based on the information presented on the website. They kindly sent me a return authorization, however I am expected to pay for the return shipping and possibly not be reimbursed for the original shipping and restocking fee because their website did not have adequate information.

Great product.. exactly what we were looking for gives a seamless connection and looks great as well... When we travel back to China for work will definitely take it with us for portability.

It looks great and built with tremendous quality but really lacks the functionality I was hoping for. You don't gain any connection points and in reality, lose one due to the fact that you HAVE to plug your computer into an outlet in order for it to work properly. It feels more like a tool to get me to buy one of the stone docks than something to clean up my desktop and make it easier to plug into my monitors.
