非常非常期待可以解决触控板休眠的问题。一旦解决了这个问题,这块触控板的使用频率将得到大幅度的提升。

I switched from OSX to Windows this year. The biggest letdown is this trackpad. It works okay but is very difficult to "wake up". After a couple of months of this, it's really getting annoying. My morning ritual of trying to get my trackpad to work is now tedious. Then after lunch and any time I take a break for more than 5 minutes. It also just drops the connection sometimes when using it. It sounds trivial but it feels like a dysfunctional part of my computer that I can never really rely on. For this reason, I would only give it one star: failing on a fundamental. I couldn't find a setting around sleep. Perhaps I just missed that. When it is connected it works fine. I wish it was a bit bigger and a little more dialed in. I guess I got spoiled with the Apple version. I'm not a true fan of Apple in general which I why I switched. They did, however, have this part down much better.

The best (the only?) trackpad for WIndows. It isn't Apple's Magic Trackpad (my trackpad of choice and point of reference)... but it is a reasonable facsimile for the WIndows side of the world. I am a Mac user, but unfortunately not all of my clients are... so I get stuck with a Windows laptop a lot of the time. I tried to use the Apple trackpad, but there are no Windows drivers for it that would be acceptable to most major, highly security-conscious corporations. The Brydge trackpad... I just turned it on, paired it, and it works! That's right, out of the box, no additional drivers needed. The build is very solid. The aluminium casing makes for a pleasant look-and-feel and for damage-free transport in a backpack. I was initially taken aback by how much smaller Brydge was compared to Apple's product, but after a few weeks the size appears quite sufficient and functional. It appears that after I step away from my workstation for more than 15 min or so, I need to flip the on-switch again to have the trackpad reconnect to the laptop, but that is a minor annoyance (and could very well be a Windows issue). The other minor nuisance is how the Brydge product (or maybe WIndows itself?) handles clicks differently. I am used to moving the pointer with my index finger and clicking with my thumb. When I try to do that on Brydge, I get a weird "jump" of the pointer, roughly equivalent to the distance between my index finger and thumb positions. The easy workaround is to both move and click with the index finger. Overall, what I needed was a trackpad for Windows laptops for which I had no admin privileges, and Brydge delivered in spades.

The trackpad surface area is not large enough. In addition, the force needed to click is more than on my Lenovo Thinkpad and other laptops I own. This is not good for folks who purchase this device solely as a way to mitigate RSI or carpal tunnel syndrome. Finally, the power goes off when your laptop sleeps or powers off. While this is good for battery preservation, it is inconvenient and annoying to have to turn the device back on physically.

Touch surface is a bit loose, click is too heavy and noisy. Mouse pointer movement is laggy and antsy on my Lenovo Thinkbook. Another touchpad works much better. So I could not use it. Waste of money

the company sent me a product that was returned by another consumer. The tape sealing the box is dirty and clearly has been removed before, the plastic paper that covers the touchpad is also dirty and full of fingerprints and bubbles. The touchpad batter was down from 54% to 17% within 1 hr (and I guess that's why the product got returned). Yet the company chose to send the returned product to me, a consumer who is not in the US and has to go through extra troubles to return the product. I wish there is a negative rating cause that's what this company deserves.

I find that the power save mode really frustrating. I'm a heavy keyboard user so I'm not always using the touchpad. Having to spend 15-30 seconds trying to wake it up is a deal breaker. I also notice interference causing the mouse pointer to lag or stutter, or stop responding. Tried 2 different Bluetooth adapters and my laptop with the same issues. It feels great to use. Looks beautiful, and is a good size.
