I purchased this in September of 2020. The cursor now floats when using this trackpad, so it is impossible to place the cursor precisely where it needs to go. Repairing the Bluetooth connection to my Surface Pro 6 did not solve the problem The SP6 is fine. The Brydge Touchpad is nonfunctional after a year of use.

Generally good and very nice to reduce number of wires on my desk. But it turns off after only ~10 minutes of down time and takes a long time and many clicks to wake up again.

Firstly dont have to charge the W-Touch for a month is a myth. It require charging within a span of 8-10 days. Other pain point is, the device losing connectivity with the laptop after a short idle time and takes ~10 seconds to re-connect to the laptop after engaging it. This is a major pain point. Apart from this, when its connected and working, its very smooth and what i expected.

This works well normally but scrambles (fails to work- cursor jumps all over the screen) whenever I use teams or whenever I use Nuance Dragon dictation software- which is a lot of the time. It is therefore rendered useless. I would recommend not buying it if you use either of those programmes.

I've have this touchpad since it launched. I use it on a Surface Book Gen 1 and Lenovo Thinkpad and they pointer has a few milliseconds lag, not very responsive not sure if it is due to the bluetooth being 4.2 or the firmware. I hope that the 2nd iteration is more responsive as a native touchpad.

This honestly is the greatest investment I've made for my home setup in quite some time. The specs do portray it's size and longevity of the touchpad. However the only thing is that if I have multiple Languages (such as spanish and english) then i have to reconnect the touchpad every time I turn on the computer. The support team stated that resetting my network would resolve. It did not. They had also mentioned this does not work on Windows 11. Ultimately, even with the reconnect when I turn my computer on, I would purchase this again in a heartbeat. Reallllllly great gesture fluidity and responsiveness to touch. Great overall product.

The overall quality is good. It is responsive, the clicks feel good and accurate. The surface is smooth, just as good as the better trackpads I've used on laptops. (I have a Dell XPS and a Macbook Pro.) I have zero complaints on the build quality. But there are still several issues holding it back from being great. Size: It is actually smaller than my laptop's trackpad. And I think it's overall just too small for me. I often run out of real estate when trying to use it because of this. Connection: The connection setting is kind of aggressive and it is slow to reconnect. If I leave it for too long, I have to click a few times for it to take ~5 seconds to reconnect. Eventually, it will turn off, so I have to toggle the on-off switch to get it to reconnect. I do not have this issue with the bluetooth mice I use. Furthermore, it does this whether it's plugged in or not. I would rather it stayed on and active all the time or at least reconnected quickly. Software: As far as I know, there is no support software to customize anything. There is no way to independently control the connection settings, the touch distance, etc. This is something logitech has for all of its mice. Settings like that in a downloadable software could solve both problems.
