“I’ve had two of these keyboards break at the hinges. The first time they sent me a warranty replacement. Less than a year later the second one broke. The rubber holding the iPad in starts to deform and won’t hold the iPad in the hinge. They sent me a warranty set (they charge $10 for two rubber inserts!) after a few months with the second keyboard. The keyboard keeps slipping out of one corner. I was in process or ordering replacement when thee hinge itself broke off - just like the first one. I use my iPad a lot but was very careful wit it. There is no reason for this design flaw. Also, the fact that the keyboard has no protection for the iPad is a concern. A great keyboard with a fatal flaw.”

“I bought the Brydge Pro for the 2018 12.9 when first available. Within 6 months of regular daily use, one of the hinges had broken. Brydge immediately sent a replacement. About a year later, same problem, broken hinge. Unfortunately, now out of warranty so I have a fantastic keyboard that is nothing more than a decoration. If the hinge durability was improved, I would give this 5 stars.”

“This is my second Brydge Pro keyboard. I broke the first one by dropping it on its edge on concrete, and immediately replaced it with a new one. The keyboard is a great product! Best features: keyboard, durability, and protection for my iPad. Excellent product!”

“This is a great keyboard - typing feels very good (better keys than the 10.5 I had previously). But I also had to return my first - the case was faulty (rattled when typing). One other issue is the bluetooth - it takes some time to connect, so you lose the first key strokes. A small niggle. A competitor brand that I've had before somehow saves those strokes so when it connects, the letters still appear. Otherwise, I'm very happy. For people that are cracking the screen - how hard are you pushing/twisting it???”
