I had one of those unfortunate Murphy's law-type incidents where I took a fall and damaged my Brydge Pro keyboard w/in a few hours of receiving it. After waiting 3 months for it to arrive, you can imagine my disappointment. I contacted customer support via email to see if they could do a refund (full or partial), an exchange, or repair. I received a form reply, telling me that they try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours. Four days later, I received a response. The support Rep told me there was nothing they could he could do except offer me a 20% off discount code for a new keyboard. This is the same discount they offer in the form of a "thank you" card that comes with the keyboard. So, in essence, the help offered for what happened was no help at all. I expressed my disappointment with the fact that a 20% off code felt dismissive, and mentioned again that I'd be happy to do an exchange or repair. The support rep's response to that? "[W]e're unable to offer free products in exchange for products that have been physically damaged (dropped etc)." So, on top of having no answer to my inquiry for any sort of repair service, I was basically accused of asking for a hand-out. I get that this is a growing company that, more than likely, operates on thin margins, but having a "sorry about your luck" return policy for folks in my position is a pretty deep bummer. Instead of creating a loyal customer, you've created someone that's all too happy to tell folks to steer clear of buying anything from Brydge.

I love this keyboard. I have the new iPad Pro 11, and was using the Apple Smart Keyboard while I waited for the Brydge to arrive. The Apple keyboard stinks. It bends and sometimes types keys you don’t want because of the flex. The Brydge is really excellent. Everything from the 180° Hinge to the feel of the keys. The backlit keys are also a nice touch that Apple left off their keyboard. Background: I had a Brydge keyboard for my old iPad Pro 10.5”. I loved it, with one exception — which I hated. There was always an annoying delay after you tried to start typing while it connected to the iPad. I sold it on eBay and used the unlovable Logitech Slim Combo for the rest of the time I owned the iPad Pro 10.5. I was very excited to learn that the new Brydge for IPad Pro 11 uses a much faster version of bluetooth. They promised instant connections between keyboard and iPad. They are not lying. They have fixed the one deal-killing problem I had with the old Brydge keyboard. The battery lasts forever. If I can offer one suggestion, it would be to slim down the battery pack by 50% and make the overall keyboard 2mm thinner. I wouldn’t mind charging it twice a year.

I must say this completes the iPad 11” Pro, 2018 version, into a compact touch-screen laptop. The keyboard is quite robust, making for a fairly heavy, however, it’s worth it. I’ve had the BRYDGE for about a week and truly love it. I’ve had every BRYDGE keyboard for all the iPads I’ve owned, probably 6 versions. I’m cautiously optimistic, as I received the 12.9” version same day last week and the SPACE BAR key was totally detached from its place. Contacted BRYDGE and they sent me a prepaid FedEX return label, and today I ordered another ew 12.9” silver BRYDGE, late May delivery. Jw

We’ve had new keyboard 1 day for 12.9 IPad Pro. Rubber pieces in hinges that make contact with iPad have failed. One is torn and the other will not stay attached to mount.

Received my keyboard last week and right out of the box, the shift keys don’t even work, which makes it quite useless. Besides the fact that it makes it thicker and heavier than a more capable MacBook Air, and the screen jiggles when you tap on it! Lastly, the magnetic protective cover doesn’t have magnets strong enough to keep in place with just regular handling making the whole ensemble feel unstable and cheap. Wish I could return it but customer service doesn’t even bother getting back to me!

So, the actually keys and the sensation of typing itself feels good — like really really good. BUT, the hinges seem slightly bent. I thought I was going crazy at first, but whenever I put the back panel on, it’s not even close to aligning with where the hinges line up. it’s all sorts of jagged. I really hope someone with the Brydge team can get back to me on this because the rest of the experience is great.

Beautiful keyboard. Solid feeling - responsive keys. Not a cheaply made device. On a table surface -all good. However .. Dodgy case - the rubber on the inner hinges fail early making the insertion a challenge. Not very comfortable on your lap with the hinges poking you. Will I use it or toss onto my pile of not quite there yet discards? TBD.

Received my 11” iPad Pro keyboard yesterday. Maybe a little heavier than I was expecting but very solidly fabricated. Really feels like a mini-MacBook. Keys have great tactile response and fit/finish are excellent - a perfect match to my Space Grey iPad.
