This is a beautiful and well-crafted keyboard. My biggest complaint has to do with the hinge design and how it holds the iPad Pro. The hinges are so stiff that opening, closing, or even adjusting three or four times torques the iPad out of the small clips that hold it. If there was a little more support on the backside, this may work better, or if the iPad was seated differently. As it is, my iPad is constantly falling out because the clips that hold it are so small and shallow.

It’s a nice keyboard like all my previous keyboards from Brydge. The only complaint I have is weight. I swear it’s made my iPad/Brydge combo heavier than a laptop. Which kind of defeats the whole point of it. I’d like to see it much lighter. I’ll be avoiding talking it with me due to the weight and instead make it the general office iPad for meetings. Which is ok, but not my original intent.

The hinge system doesn’t work. Shims came apart very quickly and were replaced. As Covid meant I didn’t need to use the keyboard again until last week I fitted the replacement ones then. One week later and exactly the same problem. The hing is so stiff the shims are coming apart once again. Don’t know whether it’s the shims or the hinge that are the problem but what is actually a great keyboard let down badly by the hinge system which means I now have a £150 piece of aluminium scrap.

My problem with this Brydge keyboard is the touch pad. This for an iPad which is not a laptop nor does it have total capability of a laptop. The touchpad is a complete nuisance. If the manufacturer desires to continue to offer the touch pad, then there should also be a disable switch

Hi Upon inserting iPAD Pro into the hinges, both hinges torn inside ( the rubber ). Never thought such damage as I was expecting the product of very high quality. I seek your support here as to what should I do ? Please see the photo as I tried inserting only once. Until your response I do not use your product. Please note that the product is in Bahrain even though I ordered the shipping to my NY address. Please see the photos.
