Very good product. Fits the iPad very well and provides protection to the unit when used as a tablet. Wish it was aluminum to match the iPad but it is still very well built and is sturdy. Definitely recommend this product!

Case seems durable. I am not sure it stays bluetooth connected seamlessly as advertised. The trackpad is a springboard, so it can be difficult to get clicks quickly. The viewing angle and strong hinge are the major separators with other keyboard cases. I would give it a solid B+/A-.

The design of the product is great. I have had zero connectivity issues as of yet. I have had it for two weeks now and I use it daily. I love the feel of the keys. It feels better and has more depth than the MacBook Air that I have. I am most impressed with the size of the track pad on such a small keyboard. Yes the keys are smaller but I have not run into any issue with typing on it. The hinge is good. I was concerned when it was different than the other Brydge products but is not a problem. The only complaints I have is it takes a little longer to open. You have to use two hands and lastly is you can only charge the keyboard. No way to connect any accessories to the keyboard. Overall would recommend it compared to the magic keyboard! I would say choose this one over the new Brydge + for the 11 inch. This keyboard has a case for your iPad when you take it off the keyboard so it is still protected.

I ordered the Air Max+ very soon after it was available. I had my iPad Pro 11 on order, and had this case waiting when my ipad finally arrived. I was initially very impressed by it. I liked the versatility it provided, including the case for use without the keyboard, as well as fairly good connectivity via Bluetooth. The typing experience seem ok at first, but I was not entirely satisfied by it. They keys were a little on the small size, and it just didn’t feel like a “full” typing experience. I initially liked having the function row of keys as well. Why did I return it? After a few hours of testing this case and keyboard out, I found a few things which I was unsatisfied with. I already mentioned the typing experience which, coming from my MacBook Air, was not satisfying. Another issue I felt almost right away, was that the keyboard had a lot of flex in it. It is made out of plastic, so some flex was expected, but it felt like it was too much. This was amplified when I attached the ipad to it. If I picked up the whole thing by the keyboard case it felt like it could bend and possibly break overtime, but this is probably unlikely. Finally, with the ipad attached, the whole thing sat well on a table, but when using it on my lap it always felt like it was going to tip over backward due to the top heavy nature of the ipad attached to this case. Ultimately, as I was testing this out, I found the Apple Magic keyboard on sale for $149, which was 50% off, and the same price as this Air Max+, so I had to get it. I can’t express how satisfied with the Magic Keyboard. Many of my concerns about it are not at all relevant. I don’t really miss the function row at all. The physical connection with the smart connector is great. It’s hard to explain because the Bluetooth connection was not a big issue, and I’ve been using other Bluetooth keyboards and a Bluetooth mouse for years, but having this instant solid connection has a feel to it that is much better. Not having to ever worry about charging it is great. The ipad with Magic Keyboard never feels like it will tip over on my lap, and the typing experience is top notch, almost exactly like my MacBook Air. In fact I think I like typing on this better than my MacBook. And the keyboard is rigid, with pretty much no flex even with the ipad attached. And finally, I was worried about protection, which was the appeal of the case keyboard hybrid of the Air Max+. I decided instead to order some 3M skins to go on my ipad to prevent scratching when I have it off the case in tablet mode. I thought this would be a greater concern, but I have been comfortable having the ipad without the case, and besides I always have Apple Care, which I have never used, so if I do have accidental damage it will theoretically be covered. In all, I think the Brydge keyboard was good, but it just didn’t provide the same experience as the Magic Keyboard. I really wanted to like it, because I usually do like to support the “little guy,” instead of the giant corporation. But… Apple has done it again, with a seamless experience. Had I not found the Magic Keyboard at the same price, I may have just lived with the Brydge, and probably would have grown to like it more. My suggestion to Brydge would be to go with the smart connector instead of Bluetooth, and to figure out how to balance the whole thing while eliminating the flex in the keyboard.

Very happy overall, would definitely purchase again. It feels solid, keyboard is great size, And I feel the iPad is protected. Two downfalls: first, it’s really heavy for a keyboard / case, and Second is I wish it could open further, creating a better viewing angle when wide open.

This is a great keyboard just like the earlier versions of which I have two. The track pad takes some getting used to but along with the stylus all works well for me. The instant on is great and key travel seems just right. Wonderful pad protection.. Cheers

This is an awesome product that has allowed me to effectively turn my iPad into a laptop. It’s now my preferred device for travel. The key feature for me is the touch pad. Also, the customer service from Brydge was fantastic.
