Didn’t like the lack of rubber feet on bottom of keyboard. Had to buy my own.

The keayboard feels great to the touch and the typing experience is nice with a good key travel and pretty silent keys. The fact that I can take off the iPad Pro without having yanking the iPad from the grips of the hinges is awesome but, since the keyboard is made out of plastic, the iPad sometimes seems heavier than the keyboard itself and it makes it difficult to place on your lap at the widest angle (it doesn't go too far back) so if yoi have it on your lap you need to keep more pressure on one hand, even when typing, to prevent it from falling back off your lap.

Nice quality. But is much heavier than past Brydges we’ve had and the charger opening is too small for the aftermarket usbc cords.

It stopped working 3 days after I received my keyboard. It wouldn't turn on or charge. I was so excited and I loved it when I got it. But it didn't last very long. I contacted support and I received a copy-pasted reply of troubleshooting info from the website that I had already found and acted on with no luck. Which I also told support. I practiced the safe charging directions, no life. I am scared that I spent a substantial amount of money for a paperweight.

I like almost everything about the Air Max+. The keys have a nice feel to them. The unit is very responsive, with no noticeable lag. The case that goes around the iPad was easy to get on, stays put, and has a nice textured feel to it. I really like how easy it is to take the case on and off the keyboard. The whole unit is definitely heavier and thicker than Apple’s portfolio unit … not an issue for me most of the time, but I will probably revert to the portfolio when traveling with lots of other gear. I absolutely hate that the backlit keys go off if you don’t touch a key for 30 seconds. I type a lot in dim rooms, so the backlit was a big selling point. Very disappointed in how quickly it goes off (doesn’t matter if you are using the trackpad, the timer seems to be based on when the last key was pressed). Sure it comes right back on when you touch a key, but the whole point of backlit keys is so you can see them and get your hands situated on them. If I take a moment to reread what I’ve written, or to think about the next sentence, the keyboard goes dark. Then I have to hit a key to light them up again … but it better be a modifier key otherwise I get an errant keystroke in my prose … but I can’t see the keys, so who knows which one I’m hitting. I find the constant on and off of the backlight very annoying when writing. I’m sure the time is short in order to promote a longer battery life. I’d pick a constant backlighting and a shorter battery life without a second thought. Why can’t this be a user setting in the Brydge Connect app … or a setting in General preferences?
