My keyboard was DOA. I followed all of the trouble shooting steps outlined on the FAQ page. I opened a support ticket outlining all of the steps I had taken and the outcome of those steps. Opening email from support was the start of the stupid human tricks. I reminded him of the steps I had already taken, got more stupid human tricks back the second time... No thank you; How about you just take this one back and give me my money back.. Then all the sudden support was all apologetic hey I want you to be happy... Sorry man that ship has already sailed. Will never ever buy another one of your products. I got a survey on how I liked my support. Outlined my issues in my survey and left my contact information should anyone care to speak with me to get more detail.. Shocker no-one contacted me.

I experienced very strange behaviour of the pointer using trackpad as it kept stuck on the screen, causing uncommanded click over everything, resulted remove or relocate apps. I kept updating the brydge connect app or change configuration but they didn't help. In some point the ipad didn't pair with the keyboard. in one occasion, that I successfully connected the keyboard, the pointer became invisible, again causing lots of uncommanded clicks and many mess. finally I decided to return the device, however I still have no refund nor replacement !

The case is strong, and the keys feel like a real keyboard.

Let me say the quality on this keyboard is amazing! I do think the user manual doesn’t have enough on the function keys (square, lock, lightbulb and two sun keys as well as the keyboard key In the manual it comes with or has online. The backlight is amazing, but the actual backlight ONLY goes behind the keys and not through them like a normal keyboard. No LED indicator when the battery is done charging/how much battery is left on the side where the charging USB C port is unless you put the battery widget on the iPad Pro. No 360 degree hinge. I frequently switch back and forth between hand writing on the iPad Pro for school and type for papers, etc. There is no use of the iPad Pro’s 3 pin connectors to give the user an option to use Bluetooth or the 3 pin connectors. This also disallows the user to charge the iPad Pro and use the actual iPad Pro’s USB C port to add accessories like HDMI, 3.5mm jack, SSDs, Sd cards, etc. There’s no magnetic folding flap to hold the iPad Pro’s Apple Pencil while in transit. And the Apple Pencil frequently falls off when opening the keyboard. The trackpad is not as responsive as the Apple Magic Keyboard, where you can simply lightly tap something and it will click. This keyboard is loud when you click on something. In addition, I can’t actually tell where the “right click is”. This is being extra, but it would be cool to have folding aluminum kick stand feet with rubberized bottoms like the Red Dragon Keyboards to elevate the iPad Pro feet a little bit to prevent slouching. Overall, if you get over the loud track pad, and having to charge the keyboard and iPad separately (not being able to use the keyboard, iPad Pro and accessories at the same time, write on the iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil without taking the iPad Pro out of the keyboard and get over the weird backlight situation the everyday user could really appreciate this iPad Pro/computer crossover device.

Talk about a protective covering on my iPad—Wow! Although not metal, this case is like a suit of armor. But with that comes weight. The specs say it is one pound. Along with the iPad itself, the weight is noticeable. I don’t use the track pad, so I find that to be just in the way. Seems like I hit it accidentally all the time and that is annoying. All in all, I chose Brydge again for iPad external keyboard. It sure has the Apple ones beat.

Great addition to my new I-Pad. Basically turns it into a full computer. Wouldn’t be without it.
