After typing on this keyboard on and off over the past 2-3 weeks, the trackpad is driving me CRAZY. I will be typing away, and BOOM, the cursor flies to the top of the page in a flash and types in the wrong place. I have made sure I wasn't touching the trackpad even. It got so bad, I decided to return it. It's not workable for a lot of typing. I do like the protective case and how it magnetically snaps on to the back. I do NOT like the keys. They are too small. I got this for a good price so I was going to try and make it work, even so, but the trackpad just made this keyboard an abysmal failure. As a side note, Support says if you return within the 30 day window, and they determine it is NOT faulty, they will issue a partial return and also minus shipping. They expect devices returned unopened and unused for full refunds. This is unbelievable and I have not had the same type of experience with ZAGG, LOGITECH OR APPLE and I highly recommend you look to them first to find something suitable, unless you are 100% CERTAIN you already love Brydge. This is really disappointing me to because I love supporting start-ups but sadly, my experience here can't hold a candle to the competitors.

This case & keyboard are really great! I love the fact that the protective case is magnetized for quick handheld use, and the keyboard feels as though you’re writing on any normal keyboard (the texture is a slightly soft touch without feeling slippery). My only annoyance is that the keyboard’s Bluetooth functionality takes about 7-10 seconds to connect if I haven’t used my iPad in a bit of time, but otherwise I’m pretty much happier with it than the Magic Trackpad case from Apple.

This is a great case. But your company should provide a charging cord with the case. I find that other cases have a cord.

The complete package is heavy and needs to be turned on each time you use it. Overall construction is great and the advantage to the iPad cover is a plus. However the pencil will charge in the holder and continues to fall out. If the return period hadn’t expired I would return for a refund.

So I would start by saying I love the keyboard. I use the new air, the case fits great and protects the iPad perfectly while still being comfortable to hold when not connected the keyboard. The keyboard feels nice to type on and I love the backlight. It’s also weighted well so that it does not fall back when placed on a desk though it is a little top heavy if you have it on your lap. The trackpad also feels responsive. I have started using shadow pc with it and it feels like i have a ultra compact laptop its the perfect keyboard for me. Now for the not so good. I got the keyboard and after a few days the trackpad stopped working. I tried connecting it to different iOS devices as well as a pc. The keyboard worked but the trackpad did not. I contacted support and they were very helpful trying to get some information about what could be wrong with some suggestions of things to try. When it reached the point of return/exchange which they did offer me. I had already taken the cover off the bottom of the keyboard (i like to tinker with things) turns out the ribbon cable was loose reseating it fixed my problem. Has been working great since then and i will NOT be exchanging it. The company did a good job supporting their product and the product itself does what it claims to do very well. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a new Brydge the next time I buy a new iPad. It’s the perfect alternative to the apple branded keyboard and for me I prefer the style and function.

the weight is good for the keyboard, I like that it does have some drop protection, this was a must. and I really like that I can take the iPad off of the keyboard and use as a table.

I bought this for my wife and loved the appearance. However, she complains repeatedly on the weak palm rejection and how easy it is for the iPad to become detached from the case when opening. She asked for the old style -- without the trackpad and where the iPad slides into the keyboard, but the cost to return with shipping and a restocking fee wasn't worth it. My son and I really like how it looks, but it appears to have a couple functional challenges.

The trackpad stopped working after a few days. After contacting support we were offered a replacement which should be arriving shortly. Hopefully the issue was a one-off and this next one works properly because before that issue we really liked it.
