After spending a month with the keyboard I can say I'm very happy with my purchase. I took my time watching some youtube reviews and decided that it was worth buying an alternative to the Apple’s expensive magic keyboard. Pros: I love the keyboard because it makes it feel like a Macbook with a touch screen. When there’s a lot of typing involved such as emails and document writing it’s great to do work on and its a perfect stand to search and watch videos. The function row keys to quickly change the volume, brightness, pause, next and BT connectivity are very useful. Keyboard shortcuts work well just as if it was a Macbook. Trackpad is very smooth and responsive even with the gestures, Brydge fixed the glitch so don’t listen to previous reviews. Keyboard also has a very long battery live, I think I’ve only charged it once. Cons: It took a couple of days to get used to the size of the smaller keys but typing now is very quick and smooth. Keyboard is a bit heavier than expected when iPad is attached but I don’t really notice it anymore. The iPad’s battery drains quicker than normal when connected but not by too much so when I’m not using the keys to type I leave the BT disconnected. Overall thoughts are that its a great cheaper alternative to the magic keyboard and it looks amazing. You basically turn the iPad into a touch screen Macbook. The Cons aren’t deal breakers just something that one quickly gets used to as the Pros greatly overshadow them. Unless one is doing heavy work like video editing or music production this keyboard is perfect, a product like this can make laptops obsolete. I’m so happy with the keyboard that it makes me wish I got the 13 in iPad instead.

Love this keyboard/case. I've had previous Brydge keyboards and were always very pleased with the exception of the battery draining well before the suggested timeframe. The Brydge Max + battery so far is impressive, and if it remains like this, will be very happy I decided to go with this keyboard. The touch of the keyboard is much like that of a laptop, which I prefer rather than that of an Apple keyboard or others. I highly recommend switching to this keyboard. Well worth the money!!!

Very expensive for what it is, compared to Asian competitors that are in the $60 range. Incredibly heavy, it triples the weight of the iPad. Also, cutting and pasting text does not have a quick key, it requires you to use key combination commands. Overall, it’s a good keyboard, but the trackpad does not allow simple tapping. It always requires you to push down with excess pressure until it mechanically clicks. Overall, I’m not terribly happy with it for the price, and actually had hindsight that I didn’t buy one of the cheap keyboards off eBay from China that I have been using successfully for the past seven years if they break, $36 to replace.

This is my third Brydge keyboard. Every time I get a new iPad, I automatically get a new keyboard to go with it. Personally I liked the old style better. It was light and sleek. This one obviously protects the iPad better and stays attached better, but is heavier and bulkier. However, the touch pad feature is a cool enhancement. I didn’t mind the way the older keyboard attached. I suspect it’s probably still better than anything else available in the marketplace (other than it’s predecessor).

Bulky, cursor tracking is lousy, clicking does not work so you end up touch the screen, it makes Word and other apps impossible to type, it is like trying to convert a turtle into a giraffe by putting you IPad on this keyboard. I will wipe the entire iPad and give it to my daughters since this combo (Brydge keyboard and new iPad) is a disaster. I am Hugh’s disappointed after waiting months - months - because it was sold to me before Brydge had it in stock and then they lost in it shipping, and are still sending emails that it is coming a month after it arrived. Horrible experience!

An absolutely fantastic keyboard and product! I couldn’t be happier with how it functions. Great key action and love the track pad. Such a solid feel. Feels like a laptop now. Compared to my previous keyboard this Brydge keyboard makes me feel like I have a whole new iPad!
