I purchased this keyboard for my iPad Air 4. I had been using a different well known brand, what I didn't like about that one, was the implantation of a kickstand type design that wasn't very functional . This solved my issues. However I would take away all the stars based on the deplorable, delivery, delivery tracking and customer service. When you purchase a premium expensive product a customer deserves impeccable customer service and delivery. I enjoy the functionality and design of Brydge products. However, I most likely won't spend that kind of money again based on the miserable experience I had getting the product. Once I received it, the instructions where incomplete. They place stickers all over the device telling you how to update the firmware, the first time you use it. The application gives very specific item by items instructions on what to do. I couldn't get it to work. Very simply the bluetooth needed to be paired. Once that very basic step is done, everything works as advertised. I'm typing this review on an older MacBook Air. To be quite honest, my MacBook Air is actually lighter Thant the iPad Air and Brydge keyboard case. Next time, I'll just invest in a real laptop.

The keyboard works exactly like you’d want it to. It connects easy, doesn’t lag, and looks and feels great in your hands.

I have been a loyal Brydge customer for years and never had a problem until this 11 Max+. The keyboard is actually better than previous products but the trackpad click doesn't seem to work for me. I contacted Brydge customer support and they said they're working on a firmware update for me but it's been 2 weeks with no updates. I wanted to give a better review but I honestly cannot given these issues.

Typing this review on my Brydge 11 MAX+ right now. A great package for a reasonable price. Would recommend for people looking to take advantage of desktop-comparable mobile apps (read: word-processing, spreadsheet, email) and leave their laptop behind for short business trips. System: iPad Pro 11” M1 processor. Setup was simple: had pre-downloaded the companion app prior to receiving so it was just a question of pairing the keyboard, launching the app, plugging power into the keyboard and making sure the software was current. Easy to use, comparable in terms of connect-speed and gestures to the iPad Magic Keyboard. I have large hands, and the overhang from the Magic Keyboard meant I was hitting my fingers on the bottom of the screen - now eliminated with the set-back design of the Brydge. Build-quality is excellent - it’s solid, weighty beast, but the weight of the device means it’s extremely stable - no chance of your iPad toppling backwards when you type with it sitting on your lap. Key travel is a little deeper compared to other keyboards, but typing is responsive and feels good. Variable backlighting on the keys is a nice feature, but placement means that if you sit back from the screen, there’s a little glare if you’re not positioned to look over the top of the keys. The trackpad is the right size, and sensitive enough to handle multi-touch gestures without error. I’m a previous Brydge 12.9 user and there are discernible improvements - notably: lack of startup lag-time, improvements in battery-life drain in the iPad and addition the track pad - was definitely worth the wait.
