Switched to an iPad Air and retired older Mac Book Pro. With the 11 Max+ I haven’t skipped a beat. Works just like a laptop should. Connects instantly every time. Adjusting to a smaller key board took no time. Action is the way I like it. It’s got a little heft to it, but it’s the solid good kind of heft. It’s a real sleek looking setup. I didn’t take the Mac Book Pro everywhere, but I do take the iPad Air everywhere.

I like how it has the potential to turn my 11" iPad Pro into essentially a compact touchscreen laptop. I would love it if it did that. Unfortunately the track pad is misbehaving (does nothing with a sharp tap, requires touch imput after a click to register the input, other wierdness) to a degree that makes it unuseable. Support says they're working on a firmware update that will fix this, but there is no ETA date and I'm not sure how long I want to wait to see if it gets fixed. It's so odd to me that a $200 piece of tech just isn't working right out of the gate. Other impressions: the back-lit keyboard is absolutely lovely, and the keyboard hinge is a little overly stiff but it's not a deal breaker.

Looks great, works seamlessly and ads protection to my iPad Pro. It does add a bit of weight, but I still like it better than the apple keypad which looks cheap in comparison.

This is the second version of Brydge that I have made. The first worked fine four well over a year and then began randomly inserting periods ‘.’ and other keystrokes where they had not been typed. I was told that the keyboard was no longer under warranty and “unfortunately, like other electronics, the keyboard has a lifespan and it appears that this device may have reached the end of that.“ I’ve had my new keyboard, the 11 MAX+, for about a week. It apparently has also reached the end of its lifespan as it is also inserting keystrokes where not typed. This is a manufacturing issue and needs to be addressed. These devices are too expensive to be creating such frustrating errors.

This was the worst preorder experience that I have ever dealt with. The shipping date changed from September, October and then November which is crazy to me on the amount of changes on the shipping. I was starting to think that this preorder was fraud. I never received the tracking number until last week which is ridiculous because I did not receive it by email I had to get in touch with someone to get it which is unprofessional. I shouldn’t of had to get in touch with someone to get updates and that I should of been receiving updates from you all on my package. I don’t think that this review will doing anything but this was my experience.

I had the original keyboard for the iPad Pro. The Max+ if worth the upgrade.
