I have had more people comment about my iPad when I use it in a public place. People think it’s a small laptop but I tell them nope it’s a keyboard attached to my iPad mini. it’s great and easy to type on and it’s just a really nice product I had one that I bought on eBay because they were sold out and this one seems to be even better. the latch is much more secure but again it’s worth the money! it’s very complementary to the look of your iPad mini and again more people have commented and asked about my iPad think it is a mini computer I highly recommend this item it’s worth every penny

Elevates my iPad to almost a laptop. Keys feel great and incredibly responsive. The only thing I’d love is the ability to protect the back while using and brydge doesn’t make a cover that fits the back of the iPad mini. Please make one!!

I’ve had my new Brydge 7.9 for iPad mini 4/5 for about a week now. I use it every day. I bought a ZAGG keyboard initially (because this one wasn’t available at the time), which I plan to return. It feels like a premium item. The typing experience is excellent—the keys feel solid and the keyboard itself feels very solid. The backlighting works great. The iPad slides in and out of the brackets quite easily. I’m thrilled. But here are the nits: The color comes very close to matching the new darker space grey of the iPad mini 5, but it’s not exact. My biggest complaint is that the keyboard often takes three or four seconds to wake up and pair with the iPad. It’s not off-putting, but it is something you need to get used to and develop some patience with. That’s it—I’ve purchased Brydge keyboards before, and this keyboard is every bit as good as the keyboard I used with my iPad 9.7 (2017). I can’t report on battery life, but I suppose if you use the backlighting a bunch it will eventually drain your battery. I haven’t had to charge it yet and I use the backlighting pretty regularly. A week into it and my keyboard still registers 57%. In sum, this is—despite a sluggish Bluetooth—an excellent keyboard and an ideal companion to any iPad mini. I love it.

Compared with the ex model, so comfortable in such a lot of functions. Backlite, on/off switch into the button, "Q" button gotten rid of other spells, physical space at the center bottom line, and so forth!!! Job sooooooooo well done !!

I never write reviews, but I had to for this keyboard. I bought it two weeks ago and have used it repeatedly and it has only used like 5 percent of its battery. It connects super easily, has a super gentle hold for the Ipad, has super soft keys, and it folds to form a mini laptop. It has built in light to see the keys in the dark, it looks sleek and its super easy to clean. I just love it. Totally worth the 100 bucks!

I've been an owner for only two years. Received this as a Christmas present. Kept protected and the keys started typing letters automatically.I will give the new version a try.
