“mini 5th generation(2019) product flawed design. undermines company it’s been advertised suits this ipad in attached mode cannot interact with dock properly when attached cannot move apps from dock to split screen when attached cannot move app to floating when attached cannot flick open apps in app switcher worse, support totally unhelpful. product needs to recalled DONT BUY if using with iphone mini 5 (2019)”

“I bought the Brydge keyboard for the iPad mini 4 and it was great for the first couple of uses but I noticed off the bat that the bluetooth button was very flimsy and would shift with the slightest touch and at first I didn't think too much about it. But after a couple of uses, the bluetooth button completely sunk in, as in the button was completely unusable as there was nothing to press anymore. This is a pretty vital function of the keyboard and with something that is quite pricey, this is a bit unacceptable. I tried and contacted Brydge's customer service twice now for possible repairs (one email during warranty and one email sent when the keyboard was no longer under warranty) and I got NO response. For anyone thinking of this keyboard, I would think twice about buying it.”

“IPad mini 5th generation. Cannot swipe up when ipad is in the hinges. As a clunky workaround, Tried to sit ipad up about 0.5 cm from base of hinge so could swipe up, but after a while it slides down. Pressing the hinges to tighten made no difference Seems obvious to me. Can’t believe this has been allowed to be sold like this. Reached out to support asking what can i out at base of hinge to keep device up .5cm so can swipe. Realistically can only use in detached mode.”

“On the Ipad Mini 5 after attaching the keyboard properly access to lower portion of the screen is compromised. As such I can use the keyboard only in a detached mode.”

“I bought the iPad Mini keyboard after being very pleased with my iPad Pro keyboard. Better than the Clamcase and also Apple keyboards, there’s one issue with this one: when inserted fully into the hinges, you can’t swipe up to move easily between apps. The only workaround is to slide the tablet up in the hinge so it isn’t fully seated. I would recommend a redesign to accommodate this functionality better without having to slide the tablet up.”
