I received the first keyboard and 7 of the buttons would stick down when pressed. I reached out to customer service/support about the issue and did not receive any reply so I followed up again with still no response. I followed up a third time and eventually had a reply asking me to video the issue. Once I sent the video I was asked to send back the original keyboard and I would be sent a replacement. The replacement arrived yesterday and all the buttons work this time however when opening the iPad the keyboard is scratching the iPad screen so it is not smooth. The keyboard certainly feels sturdy but the quality of the product is poor and inconsistent.

I've used every keyboard ever made for a mini, including full-sized ones bluetoothed and roll-up ones that are micro-sized. This keyboard is the best blend of size and layout of anything I've used. I can't give it a complete five stars for these reasons: 1) Missing the escape key, so you have to use command-]; 2) Having to use function to hit the tab key is not unreasonable, but putting it only one key away guarantees you cannot contort your one hand to hit tab, and a huge part of the reason to have a keyboard is to fill out forms that you want to tab through and not have to touch the screen; 3) There's a few keys that are four items--two half-width keys (which this keyboard already has) would have been much more preferable and easier to use; 4) There's a number of keyboards that "pinch" the iPad. This is super clunky and can easily get caught on things, and adds unnecessary heft. Would have been way better being a couple strong magnets instead. These are real issues for me, but far minor compared to some of the major flaws of other keyboards. Absolutely worth the money.

Although this is one of the more attractive iPad mini keyboards, and most of the keys feel terrific, it ultimately misses since the '1' and 'Tab/Caps Lock' keys are much too small and abut the support ridge too closely to their left (meaning a square press upon them still often doesn't work since your finger often is blocked by that support ridge to the left). It's too expensive for what it is, too heavy, and the 14-day return window is too short. In the end, it really fails since the mini 4 is held so far down by the support braces that you cannot touch the bottom of the screen, and certainly cannot swipe up for the iOS Control Center.

When I saw the Brydge Mini II I was really excited. This was the product for me. I thought that finally I could ditch my laptop when I travel and go with my ipad mini. The product is well made and attractive. However I am having two problems that make it less then perfect. If you follow the instructions to slide it onto the hinges as per the instructions, sometime the bottom of the screen is hard to touch and reach. This is especially an issue if you want to close the keyboard and line it up with the ipad. The other issue that is still being worked on is sometimes I cannot type in programs like word, notepad and email even though the uppers keys are responsive. I am working with support on this. Overall it is a good product and well worth looking into with a couple of reservations

I love the look and feel of this keyboard. The keys feel great for easy typing and backlighting is great too. I don't particularly like some of the multi-function keys (Tab and Capslock) but this is less important than the spacing of the keys for typing ease. The iPad is firmly held in place during typing and when the keyboard is closed as an iPad cover. If you like your iPad to have all-around scratch protection you need to buy the optional leather pouch which is also well made looks great, but will get the price up near $180. Overall this is a very functional and beautiful product!
