“Functionality is great, excellent fit, magnetic attachment to iPad is great and as usual nice keyboard. The main negative is that its VERY heavy which is not ideal for the kind of lightweight travelling I do.”

“The previous model had hinges that were totally unacceptable. This model seems to have redesigned the keyboard. Hopefully, this will make the product serviceable and able to be used for more than 5 months.”

“This is about the fourth or fifth Brydge keyboard. I finally gave up trying them after the hinges on the last generation kept breaking. They would never admit a design flaw that made the keyboards useless in short order. The keyboard itself was excellent but when the hinges broke it was useless. They also insisted that a delay in waking up the keyboard was normal. I bought the new generation when I saw that it had almost a full-width hinge. The keys on the keyboard are also instantly awake; making this almost like a laptop. The new setup. Represents a vast improvement. But they still didn’t quite get it right. Despite ordering a silver keyboard, the back is space grey. Come on - at this price they could color match the cover and the keyboard. There is also a real back for once rather than using the iPad itself for the back. The magnetic attachment to the iPad works well but they cheaped out again and the cover does not wrap around the edges of the iPad so if you try to open the keyboard with the back it just separates from thee iPad. You have to insert a fingernail under the iPad in order to raise it with the cover. I really wonder what kind of customer testing they do on new models. Still, this is the first of their keyboards that come close to justifying its price on sale. Great keyboard itself”

“install was easy also the setup but if the top is open more than 90 degrees the top back bottom will rub on whatever surface it is resting on. Great case but there should be some kind of a protective material to protect this lovely case.”

“I wrote a negative review on an older Brydge keyboard for my first generation IPAD pro 11. It had keypad and hinge issues. But…..then I bought a new Brydge keyboard for my IPAD and holy catfish…..what a difference. This thing has resolved prior issues. It is heavy, yes, and I like the weight of it. The key strike feel is perfect. No hinge issues at all. thank you, guys……this one is a winner.”
