Disappointed

I originally ordered the magic keyboard but was unhappy with the overall size of the keyboard and device stability when it wasn’t on a flat surface. I pre-ordered the Max+ and over the last 7-8 months and it has been nothing but a disappointment. Being a third party device I expected it to not operate as smoothly or to offer the same level of functionality of the magic keyboard but, wow, was I wrong. This is by far one of the worst accessories I have ever used. Charge time is over double what was advertise and the device will not pair unless it is fully charged. Bluetooth connection will work one day and not the next. Key’s are the same, some days certain letters of function keys just don’t work and it will also just randomly type continuously, like you are holding down a single key down, when you’re not even touching the device. To top it all off, their customer service is about as bad as it gets. Please be aware that if you call you will get sent to a full mailbox and are unable to leave a message and customer service is about as unhelpful as cab be. Updates to date have not resoled a majority of the issues I have experienced. If you’re considering this device, do yourself a favor and do not buy it. It’s looks great, size of the keyboard and trackpad are great, but once anything goes wrong. It’s just an expensive paperweight.

I think this keyboard has a lot of potential if it weren’t so easy to break. The hinges crack very very easily so it’s basically rendered useless. I bought the insurance protection plan from the third party website/ Clyde and they refuse to issue me a new one and say that I have to contact Brydge to get a new one. Brydge’s customer service line never picks up. Their voicemail is always full and it’s impossible to get ahold of them. So now I’m stuck with a $200 piece of equipment that doesn’t work. Don’t trust this company.

Good quality product appreciate easy in and out of iPad and getting used to hear click on touch pad but compared to my desktop 12 yrs old it is nice come out of computer Stone Age with this one and travels well. Bought case to hold keyboard and works great well worth the cost separate keyboard magic style would not work for me

I really like having a keyboard for my iPad it definitely feels like a good quality as well. I really like the connectivity and daily operation. When I open my iPad it is almost seamless. It is a little weird while using multiple fingers to operate quick commands. But that might be a hiccup in communication between the keyboard and iPad functions. Overall I do like it.

WOW, this new keyboard is the best yet. True instant on and the track pad is a great addition. Just a bit on the heavy side and wish it would open to 180 degrees but aside from that perect

Likes: Keyboard has a great feel for my size XL hands and key resistance is good. Easy to activate power. I like the infintely variable angle. I can put the iPad in a portriat setting & it stays - not good for jostling, but good for solid reading. It is 6oz heavier than a different board that runs off the iPad battery. Also, with the Brydge, bluetooth is needed - the other runs off the iPads 3 pins. Those are the only downsides.

I had a brydge keyboard for my 1st gen ipad pro that worked like a champ for many years and was happy to get the MAX+ for my new iPad Pro. My new keyboard is consistent with my past experience, the magnet attachment is a great improvement, but the 135 degree opening is really limiting for my usage. The other opened much further and I keep wishing this keyboard had that ability. A better, more flexible hinge will give your customers much more options of use. Now, when I need a more dynamic environment for my ipad I have to detach and use it without the Brydge. Wish that wasn’t the case. Give me a full 180 degree keyboard hinge and you’ll have a winner.

I was a little skeptical at 1st of buying an off brand keyboard for my IPad Pro. But after thoroughly searching the Internet , Brydge had a lot of great ratings . I couldn’t be any happier with it. It is well built , solid , and heavy duty. Much better than the Apple one.
