Unit is very heavy; I have experienced issues with keys sticking and the unit locking up the iPad. For the cost I expected a better overall quality of product than I received. The older Bridge keyboards were much better made than this one. It does well to protect the iPad much better than the Apple Magic keyboard that I used to use before this one.

Overall a nice keyboard. Well constructed. Large trackpad and nice keyboard. The cons are the weight and balance. The keyboard works great if it is set on a flat surface as a desk or table. If you want to use it in your lap, it is top heavy and will tilt forward depending on the angle of the screen. It is a bit on the heavy side as well. I also wish the keyboard would auto power on like the Ipad when opened. I have to touch the keyboard power key each time I open the keyboard.

While I the Brydge 12.9+ did not suit my tastes, I had a good experience with the support staff who handled my return.

Bought this to go with my new 12.9 2021 iPadPro. This is an amazing product. Pros: great looks, great key travel, love the function keys and backlighting. Quick connection with just a key press. Solid, fairly easy pair first time, never had to re-pair after some initial issues. Cons: Heavy. But it needs to be heavy to support the 12.9 iPadPro when tilted back. On a lap, be careful that the iPad does not tilt back too far or you might lose it. Some tracking issues - I think my trackpad isn’t centered perfectly and when I do a physical click on the right side of the trackpad, sometimes the cursor freezes and I lose control of the cursor by most of the trackpad. I think the trackpad is getting slightly stuck on the right side after clicking sometimes. Working with Brydge now to resolve the situation. This is likely an isolated problem, only one other person here is posting that they have tracking issues. Overall - despite the tracking isssue (it doesn’t happen if i tap-to-click, but still an issue since i click for dragging and dropping), this solid keyboard/trackpad solution is the best option for turning your iPadPro into a laptop. Very impressive. Once my tracking issue is resolved this trackpad/keyboard will get 6 stars. Well done, Brydge!

I expect quality commensurate with my investment of Apple products and this keyboard fits the bill. The battery life, keyboard, hinge, and trackpad are top notch save for the extremities of the trackpad which is pretty minor given my usage. However, one subtle downside is that when i place the Brydge/IPad unit on my lap at full extension or close to it, the corner of the magnetic back of the Brydge digs into my legs. Tried adjusting the angle but anything past 90 degrees results in the exposed corner on the bottom. Considering sending it back since I like to read sitting in my favorite chair!

I really like the product but I wish it's possible to prolong the time before it goes idle even at the cost of the battery life and maybe if it was a a little lighter. =

I've been using the keyboard a few days now for general things and it works pretty darn good. Keys feel great and the trackpad works well, especially with gestures. My only gripe is you can't just "tap" on the trackpad to click. You have to do a full click and it's pretty darn stiff (and loud). As others have said, it is on the heavy side, but for something that claims to get 3 months of use on a charge the battery is probably huge! I'll take the extra weight for that.
