“I purchased and looked at the Logitech combo touch, the Magic Keyboard and the Brydge 1.9 Max; I kept the Brydge!! First of all, none of them are what I would call "perfect" and we all use our iPads differently so one keyboard/cover solution might work for one person but not another. I've used Brydge keyboards for years and love them. The typing feel combined with a quality construction are the real value. The Brydge Max is no exception. I LOVE the typing feel and the solid, high end case construction. I like how my iPad just fits/sits there held in place by magnets. The setup works creag on my lap in bed or on the couch. The track pad is awesome! So far there are only two things about it that are less than idea. First, the weight. I knew it would be heavy and, to be fair, it needs to be to balance the weight of the iPad. Still, it's very heavy and this will be a real drawback for some. Some of us really like the "laptop" configuration this keyboard cover gives us but there are certainly far lighter laptops out there! The 2nd minor annoyance is the "click" on the track pad. It's very stiff and takes quite a bit more pressure to press or click than I would like. But there's more good! I like how the bluetooth works almost instantaneously. So I don't think you can go wrong with this keyboard. A rich, highend laptop type experience...quality all the way!”

“Although the track pad is large and works well it’s a bit buggy when scrolling. It’s almost like pushing a piece of paper on a smooth table that has just a bit of sticky ness on it. Just isn’t smooth in that one area. All in all it’s a great product and a lot of the old issues I had with the older versions are fixed. Typing is excellent.”

“Absolutely loving this cover/keyboard/trackpad combination. Very well built and designed The iPad clips very securely into the hard cover using magnets in the cover. It's certainly not going to fall or slip out, yet it's easy to remove the iPad for standalone use when desired. It does add weight to the configuration because, let's face it, the keyboard section is essentially a big battery. I have been looking at these types of keyboard cases for my 12.9" for 9-10 months. I looked at the Apple one with the tilting cover, but frankly the cost is way too high just for the Apple "cool" factor. This Brydge one is perfect and you save $100 compared to the Apple one.”

“Looks nice but it's heavy which is the smallest issue. Also constantly loosing connection with the iPad and the trackpad stops working after a couple of minutes. Even after the firmware update nothing changed. The support still didn't answer to me after 3 days. Huge disappointment, I just want my money back.”

“I've got the Apple Magic Keyboard for my 12.9" trackpad. It's biggest flaw is just how top heavy the iPad is - when I'm watching something, it sometimes just flops over. I purchased the Brydge product partly to overcome that, and it does achieve that part. However, the trackpad has intermittently not worked. I have to switch the whole thing off and back on again to get it to work, sometimes repeatedly. I also find the touch pad click to require too much force. The keyboard is also very disappointing in action compared to the Magic Keyboard, although that is obviously a matter of personal preference. Otherwise the product is very solid.”

“This thing gave my iPad new life and purpose. I received it right before I had to start going back into the office for work and this thing turn my Cellular iPad pro into the laptop replacement I wanted. The one thing that is holding this back from true perfection is the trackpad not being clickable in every section like the macbook trackpad. The size of Brydge trackpad is about the same as the macbook pro so it tricks me in thinking I can click anywhere as I can with my macbook pro :/. When I keep having to remember or do over a click that didn't register on the top portion of the Brydge trackpad it takes me out of the experience.”
