Great feel, battery life, and overall capability, but not being able to turn of the click on the touch pad is a real issue. I have always disabled this on all my keyboards and can do it on a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard. But no method, and Brydge told me its a Microsoft issue. If your not careful even getting your hand close to the touchpad causes the curser to jump to a new position.

I have been using my Brydge keyboard with my Surface for several weeks now and many hours per day. It's much better than the cover keyboard I was using before in terms of stability and feel. The hinges hold the Surface firmly, and they also hold very firm to whatever viewing angle you set the screen to. That said, it has what I think are at least 4 possibly fatal flaws: 1) Lack of a dedicated Home/End/PgUp/PgDn keys. Whoever was responsible for the dedicated Bluetooth, battery, brightness up and down keys over dedicated Home/End/PgUp/PgDn keys should really go back to work at Apple. These functions which I use literally dozens if not hundreds of times a day are now a Fn+key combination, and if you use functions like Ctrl+Home then those are now Fn+Ctrl+Home Twister combinations. I can live with varying Delete and Backspace key locations and work on a number of different laptop and desktop keyboards and can adjust to those differences when switching keyboards, but having to find and combo the Fn key every time I want to go Home is just maddening. Going Home should be a lot easier. 2) No way to disable the touchpad. The Brydge guys tell me that this is not their fault and rather a fault that lives in Windows for disabling the touchpad on Bluetooth keyboards, but then I think Brydge should be working on or finding a utility to disable the touchpad. No fewer than 4 times writing this review on the train I have inadvertently brushed the touchpad and jumped to a window and overwritten text with an entire sentence before I knew what happened. Thank goodness Ctrl+Z and Alt+

I had the flimsy keyboard that you could buy for the Surface Pro 4. No matter what case you bought it would always fall off your lap and was sooooo uncomfortable; UNTIL NOW!! This is the greatest keyboard ever!! Its so responsive, the keys are big enough for my hands and best of all the battery life is amazing. I only wish that the company would come out with a case that would also fir this wonderful keyboard. Thank you Brydge we love it and appreciate all the hard work everyone put in to this. Hopefully youll out a case for this and I'll be one of the first ones to get it

I've used it for 4 weeks, initially I was excited, but now planning to shift back to original, which has many issues too. I'm now here's my views: It did completed my notebook [never prefered a tablet] The base keyboard and typing is pretty good, i like it much more than the type cover, no doubt But my backlit never worked from the first day [not sure if i did sth wrong or never did any settings] The Right shift key not wokring most of the times, have to go back and press again and type Not happy with loosing Function key lock [as in type cover] The worst of all is the track pad, its small size i still reluctantly accepted, but the usabiity like draging, selection, etc, just cant work and the Right click is now almost spoilt, with just the use after 4 weeks, pretty disappponted. Hopefully version 2 will iron out all these issues. Deep

This keyboard does what nothing else does........turns the Surface Pro 4 into a better version of the Surface Book (the SB is too big imho).......Is it perfect? No. However, it does everything I have thrown at it pretty well. I type about 60-70 wpm and have noticed ZERO lag. The touchpad is on the smaller side but works well for me. It really has to be a minimalist design as there just isn't much room to get a big touchpad in and still have the keyboard match the size of the SP4. It makes the whole device a bit heavier, but, the whole idea is that it can easily be separated and the SP4 stand alone......which brings me to the hinges. I have had NO problem installing and separating the SP4 from the Brydge keyboard. Again, it is a well made, premium feel keyboard that transforms the SP3/4 into something much better. From that perspective, the execution by Brydge was great. Kudos for that.........

So glad I waited and bought the Brydge 12.3 - received it today and easily swapped the shims out to use with my Surface Pro 3, found the fit still a little tight, but likely as I have a tempered glass screen protector which adds 0.7 mm to the thickness. In any case, I have found the keyboard to be exceedingly smooth (I am a Mac user and I love those keyboards) and the functionality to be exactly what I was looking for. I don't see how they could have made this a better product with the same specs and usability. I am thoroughly impressed and am thankful that the product is made so well!

Glad I bought the Brydge 12.3 as it has transformed my Surface pro 3 experience back into an enjoyable true hybrid system. The instructions were easy and relatively self explanatory an integration simple. What I love most about this is that the quality of the keyboard is awesome, like most everything isn't perfect but for what this is, it is the best solution our there! Only thing I would ask if they were to upgrade it have a firmware/software update to allow you to see what the battery's life span is besides the blinking lights set up. Overall very pleased on the quality and service that Brydge provided. Keep up the good work guys!
