It should charge the tablet too and maybe have an LTE, same way a Book 2 does with the keypad. As it stands it is better, a lot more stylish than the Microsoft keypad. I hate the fabric on their keypad.

much better than the original keyboard which is too soft to type on. Only two drawbacks: 1. a bit too heavy for the size 2. difficult to open the when it is folded.

This keyboard is a dramatic improvement from the one that comes with a Surface. I had been really struggling with the stock keyboard, not only on typing, but accidentally activating functions. This keyboard behaves great and feels good to type with.

But this keyboard exceeds my expectations so surprisingly. It's rare to be delighted by a product, and this is that device. The only complaint I can think of is that it's heavy, quite so. But it makes my Surface into a "real laptop" finally, and I love everything about it. Details are perfect, all the nice functions, backlights, everything exceeds expectations.

I was excited to get this product. It works fine and the battery life is out of this world. Its makes your surface really heavy, and its clunky to use. The touchpad is ok at best, but I always find myself reaching for the mouse instead of using the touchpad as it is somewhat erratic at times.

Love the keyboard but the trackpad is a bit frustrating, I’m using a mouse when I can instead.

It’s heavier than you think it’s going to be. Which is necessary for balance. It paired easily. I’m glad I purchased it. I was regretting my Surface purchase because of how awkward it is on airplanes, sitting down, and especially laying in bed. The backlight is one color and works well. I’ve had to charge it once. I’m not sure the my Surface or the Brydge actually “turn off” when I close the lid. I recommend.
