The Brydge 12.3 Pro+ keyboard is amazing compared to the ones Microsoft offers for the Surface computers. It has an unbelievable tactile feedback for a keyboard of this thickness. I can actually type on it with very few errors. Just be aware that it is still no substitute for a full sized keyboard, but they are not really very portable. I also have an older Lenovo T460 laptop which has a very nice keyboard for a laptop. The 12.3 Pro+ seems to have slightly less key travel than the Lenovo T460 keyboard, but this is not a significant problem for me. The 12.3 Pro+ keyboard is so much better than the Microsoft ones. The only other slight drawback for me is I would have appreciated if it had sculptured key caps. This is a very nice feature if you really type very much.

Typing is smooth, connection is seemless. Good buy, I feel it's sturdier than the type keyboard.

I have been using the Brydge 12.3 Pro+ for about two weeks now and I couldn't be happier with it. Since I started COVID-work-from-home, I have been using my Surface Pro 6 on a lap desk. The "kickstand" made it difficult to position the setup. I pre-ordered the Brydge keyboard on the strength of the reviews of the other products that Brydge makes because I had no knowledge of them. Pros: * My surface setup fits easily on the lap desk * The Brydge 12.3 is easy to set up - straightforward Bluetooth, connected the first time, no issues * It is very solid. It weighs more than the Surface keyboard, of course, but it feels like a solid piece of aluminum * It isn't too heavy, though. I'd not think twice about carrying it on the train to "real work" * 4 levels of keyboard backlighting, 0 - bright * Auto sleep and wake of both the keyboard and my Surface * I use it for all of my 8-hour workday. Charged it 7 days ago and it has a 63% charge right now. Granted, I am sub-arctic, so I don't need to use the backlight all the time, but still :-) * The keys are perfect, just the right feel Cons: I can't think of any Cons. I was worried that I would think the price too high, but now that I have it and have used it, I don't think so. It is a quality piece of hardware.

As an owner of both the old and new keyboards, I can state the Pro is an improvement. Better tactile feel to the keys, a little lighter, & better design, especially the touch pad. A real positive is the ability to charge directly from the Surface Pro 7. A minor negative is the black case shows smudges and fingerprints on the back.

We purchased one for IPDAD Pro and one for Surface Pro. Best keyboard for these devices on the market. And they are from right here in Park City, Our home town.

Looks good, matches well with my Surface Pro. Nice balance enables normal laptop use as opposed to the balancing act with the Microsoft keypad/cover. Good feel to the keyboard, slight delay with the touchpad/bluetooth occasionally. The hinges are slightly out of alignment, not perfect but not enough of a problem to return and risk the significant delays and missed shipping dates that I experienced. So far, I recommend it (two weeks of use).
