I have been a fan of Brydge ever since I started using their ipad keyboard a few years back. Since I made the switch to Surface, I've been looking for a keyboard that worked as well and saved me from the balancing act of using the kickstand on your lap. This is it! As a beta-tester, I can tell you that this keyboard is absolutely amazing. The finish on it matches the surface pro (I have the black version), and is about the same width as the surface. The tapered edges make it look like they are supposed to go together. Everything works just as it should. Keyboard is an absolute pleasure to type on with good travel. The touchpad is well-positioned and sensitive, works just as well as the surface pro keyboard. The only difference is there is a slight lag (less than a second) from wakeup to bluetooth connection, but this is not a problem since it stays on while you're using it. Backlighting is nice, and has different levels. The hinge has a good firmness and can support the surface in all positions up to 180 degrees. The function button row is basically the same as the surface pro keyboard. This is the one you want.

This is my second Brydge keyboard and I absolutely love it. I've used them on a Surface Pro 3 and now a Surface Pro 7 - so much better than the MS Surface keyboard. I'm participating in the BETA program and was given the opportunity to try out the new Brydge 12.3 Pro keyboard. The touch/feel of the keys is great, back lighting is nice, etc. I like this style of keyboard particularly because it makes my Surface into a laptop and easy to use on the go.

First off I am part of the beta program and got to trial the product. However I have been using Brydge products for several years now. The larger touchpad and it's controls are amazing! The product fits my surface pro 7 perfectly. I got the black one and it matches and looks wonderful, the product is sturdy, battery life is great, the keyboard feel is high quality and professional. I work in IT so I am typing or clicking on something ALL DAY long, and this product can keep up with me easily!

This keyboard transforms the way you use the Surface Pro 7. Firstly, the keyboard clicks feel amazing, the touchpad (which is bigger) is great! Feels like a smooth glass. The biggest vantage I would say, is not having to use the kickstand every time I wish to use the Surface as a laptop, instead of a tablet. I can use it in bed, on the go, sofas, etc. And, when I want to use it as a tablet, they keyboard can be removed and bam! All in all, I would 100% recommend this product for anyone owning a Surface Pro series.

The Brydge Keyboard changed my experience with this 2-in-one. It's an attractive product with amazing functionality, great battery, amazing feel, and i can use my surface comfortably on my lap now! I've always been curious about brydge products since purchasing my surface, and the beta program gave me the opportunity to see the hype for myself. I Highly recommend this product.

I got to try out the new Brydge 12.3 Pro+ as part of their beta program. The Brydge keyboard addressed all my needs as an artist and videographer. Since it's wireless, I can place the keyboard to the side so I can access the quick keys when drawing or easily prop up the tablet to bring the display to eye level for editing video. The build quality is superb and matches almost perfectly with the Surface Pro. The keyboard has metal construction that feels solid without being too heavy. The typing experience is better than most third party keyboards and on par with the major manufacturers. The keys have good travel without being too noisy. Backlighting has three levels of brightness. Unfortunately the only color is cool white. The backlight will time out pretty quickly when not typing, even if you're actively using the touchpad. The Bluetooth 5.0 connection was easy to setup and connect quickly after sleeping. The bigger and better touchpad works as expected. All the gestures functions flawlessly. USB-C is another welcome addition, particularly for the SP7, which finally get a USB-C as well so everything can be charged with the same cable.   One major concern from some users is light bleed from the pressure of the hinges. I notice a little bit of this when opening and closing but it seems minor enough that I'm not terribly concern. I will update if it becomes an issue over time. There is some flexibility in the hinge so you may be able toloosen or tighten a little if necessary. Any aforementioned issues is just me nitpicking (and I'm very picky). Overall, this combination is almost perfect. It allows for proper ergonomics in the office and lapability when I'm on the go. I am finally satisfied with my setup.
