“I like the look and feel of the Brydge SP+ keyboard however, I have not been able to resolve the Bluetooth connectivity issue even after several emails with the Brydge staff. The keyboard will lose the Bluetooth connection when it goes to sleep requiring me to have to add it again even though it shows up as a device not connected. Fix this issue and it would be 5 stars. My $20 mouse has no problems.”

“Keyboard works amazingly! I love it! I was worried about reviews saying reconnection issues occur when keyboard falls asleep. But I had no problems. Keyboard reconnects easily automatically.”

“Great idea, though having an ability to change certain settings would be nice. I use my Brydge when I DJ and in between sets the keyboard disconnects itself. There are also frequent disconnects when using the keyboard, and there are no settings to turn the mouse off when typing so I frequently send the cursor across the page from where I am trying to type. Some tweaks would be nice, but overall a decent purchase.”

“My old laptop, which folded back to also be a tablet, died, and I was looking for something similar, but couldn't find the right combination of tablet and laptop functionality. When I was looking at Surface tablets, I still really wanted a rigid, laptop-style keyboard that would physically attach to the tablet to facilitate using it on my lap and on the go. The Brydge SP+ turned out to be the exact product I was looking for. I've been using it for hours daily and it's doing exactly what I need. It lasts for weeks on a charge, even with heavy use. It's easy to dock the tablet and remove it. Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase!”

“Biggest complaint is no boarder when attaching to ensure always mounted center. And takes different charger than device, so I have to always take two chargers . Touch pad is a little slow to respond sometimes.”

“First let me start by saying this is the only clamshell keyboard for the Surface Pro lineup, so I am thankful for Brydge for at least making the offering. The keyboard experience is quite good, it seems to register every key press without any issue. It wakes quite quickly, and connects just as fast. The backlit keys is a much welcomed feature as well. Where things turn South fast is the trackpad. It just isn't accurate, and seems to have a delay as well. It won't register smaller more precise movements. I just find it missing the mark more often than not versus the trackpads I have on my other laptops. Granted they are connected the laptop and aren't bluetooth like the Brydge keyboard is. I find myself trying to avoid the trackpad altogether and just using the touchscreen on the Pro. Which is really too bad, I wanted to love these keyboard, since Brydge is the only one offering clam shell keyboards for some tablets. So if you need a clamshell keyboard, this is your only option, so buy it. If you are expecting a great trackpad experience, think again.”
