“This is my second Brydge 10.5. The first one, from series one, worked OK but had problems with sticky keys, This problem was apparently corrected in series II, which performs fine—as long as the battery is working. When I first had it a full charge lasted around 2-3 weeks. I thought “well that’s not so good, but it’s not really a problem.” Now, a full charge lasts about three days. Don’t know if I just have a defective unit, but in any case I think the warranty is up.”

“On my third or fourth Brydge. Enjoy them very much! Could be lighter and last longer. I like some weight in the base so the iPad doesn’t tip. Only beef... Just short of two years a key will stop working and it can’t be serviced. Wish the company would offer service for that.”

“This is my second Brydge keyboard for the same iPad. The first one just drove me crazy missing key strokes. This one seems to be a lot better. I am told that they upgraded the software, and that does seem to me to be the case. I think that the majority of the keystrokes I miss now are merely because of my typing skills and not the keyboard. I have to say that the Brydge product probably had the best thought out packaging that I have ever seen. It was well protected and exceedingly easy to follow the set up instructions. The fit and finish is perfect. For all intents and purposes you really thinking you are using a laptop. With the added benefit that you can touch the screen when you need to. It takes a second or two when you first start typing for the Bluetooth to kick in. After that it works perfectly. No delay, hardly any skipped keys. It is really very good. The keyboard is heavier than the IPad. I have read reviews where people thought this was a drawback. On the contrary, I think it is a benefit. It helps everything stay in place on your lap while you are typing. I highly recommend this keyboard.”

“I am typing this review on my Brydge keyboard. Literally every sentence requires a spell check because so many keystrokes are missed. The following keys on my keyboard regularly miss inputs: Q, W, E, R, T, A, F, X, J, K, I, 1, 2, 3, 4, maybe more. I literally sat here and tested the keys while writing this. Some keys you can tell are going to work properly just by the tactile input, the others you can feel they do not give quite the same. I have owned this junker for quite a while now, and have serious resentments about it. I know you don’t sell version 1 anymore, but I am so pissed sitting here with this keyboard on my lap, I had to write this. The first Brydge product I have owned and probably the last. It looks cool, but it is useless for me. When I use this product I spend most of my time fixing missed keystrokes. I decided today that I am moving on without this thing and not looking back. It pains me to throw it in the trash, but at least I won’t have to feel disgusted every time I look at it.”
